To stop an Amazon-billed Amazon Music Unlimited subscription from renewing, open Your Amazon Music Settings, find the Unlimited section, select Cancel under Subscription Renewal, and follow the confirmation prompts. If Apple or another provider bills you, cancel through that provider instead.
First, identify which Amazon Music plan you have
Amazon lists separate help topics for Unlimited, Standard, and Prime music. Check the plan name in your Amazon account or billing record before canceling: the right steps depend on the plan and who handles the billing.

- Amazon Music Unlimited: A separate subscription. If Amazon bills it, manage it in Amazon Music Settings.
- Amazon Music Standard: A distinct plan with its own cancellation help topic. The available Amazon sources do not establish its current detailed cancellation screens, so follow the account-specific instructions shown for your subscription.
- Amazon Music Prime: Music included with Prime at no additional cost, rather than a separate Unlimited subscription. Ending Prime may affect other Prime benefits; canceling a separate Unlimited subscription addresses that subscription instead.
Amazon describes Prime music as a Prime benefit, but the cited sources do not provide the current detailed steps for ending Prime membership.

Cancel if Apple or another provider bills you
Apple iTunes billing
Use Apple’s subscription controls to manage or cancel a subscription purchased through Apple. Amazon says it cannot cancel, manage, update payment methods, or offer refunds for subscriptions purchased through Apple. After cancellation, access continues until the current billing cycle ends.
Another third-party provider
If a different company bills the subscription, check the billing descriptor and follow that provider’s cancellation instructions. Amazon notes that subscriptions started through a third party may need to be canceled with that provider. Check the account afterward for the cancellation status and end date; do not assume cancellation takes effect immediately or guarantees a refund.

If you still see Amazon Music after canceling
Check the plan name, billing provider, and cancellation status in the account associated with the subscription. If the music is included with Prime, it may remain available as a Prime benefit even though a separate Unlimited subscription is no longer active. If another provider handled billing, confirm the cancellation with that provider.
