To cancel a TIDAL subscription, use the service that bills you: TIDAL, Apple, or Google Play. For direct TIDAL billing, sign in at account.tidal.com, open Subscription, choose Cancel Subscription, and confirm. If Apple or Google Play handles payment, cancel in that provider’s subscription settings instead.
First, find who bills your TIDAL subscription
Sign in to your TIDAL account and check Subscription for your plan and renewal date. The Payment section shows your payment method and billing history. TIDAL’s refund guidance also says the Payments tab can indicate whether Apple or Google manages payment. See TIDAL’s subscription-management instructions and its refund FAQ.
Use the cancellation route that matches the billing manager. TIDAL’s cancellation guidance, updated June 3, 2026, says third-party-billed subscriptions must be canceled through that provider: Cancel Tidal Subscription or Trial.
Cancel a subscription billed directly by TIDAL
- Go to account.tidal.com and sign in with the TIDAL account used for the subscription.
- Open Subscription.
- Select Cancel Subscription and confirm.
You can also cancel in the TIDAL Android app: tap the heart icon, then the gear icon in the upper-right; tap Edit, then Manage Subscription; scroll to Subscription, choose Cancel Subscription, and confirm. Menu labels or placement may change as the app is updated.

Cancel through Apple on an iPhone or iPad
If Apple bills you, use Apple’s subscription controls on your device: open Settings, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions. Select TIDAL and follow the cancellation prompts. TIDAL’s refund FAQ also directs customers to check Apple subscriptions in the device’s Settings app.
If TIDAL does not appear as an active subscription, do not assume the charge has stopped. Check the payment information in your TIDAL account to see whether another provider bills you.

Cancel through Google Play
- On your Android device, open Google Play and go to Subscriptions.
- Select TIDAL.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.
If TIDAL is not listed, check other Google accounts and email addresses you may have used to register. TIDAL advises contacting Google Play support if you still cannot locate the subscription.

What happens after you cancel?
TIDAL says you keep access until the end of your current billing cycle. Cancellation stops renewal; it does not immediately remove streaming access. Refund eligibility depends on your country and billing provider. TIDAL says it cannot issue refunds for purchases made through Apple or Google Play; those requests must go to the relevant platform. For US customers who forgot to cancel before renewal, TIDAL says it cannot refund that renewal. Customers elsewhere should consult the applicable regional refund policy in TIDAL’s refund FAQ.

Canceling is not the same as deleting your account
If you want to stop charges but keep your TIDAL account, cancel the subscription; do not delete the account. TIDAL describes account deletion as permanent and irreversible. It can remove playlists, favorites, listening history, your profile, uploaded music, and account details, and streaming access ends immediately. Any unused subscription period is forfeited. Deleting the account also does not cancel a subscription billed by Apple or Google Play.
