Stake.us does not treat a Gold Coin purchase as a deposit of withdrawable money. You buy a license to use Gold Coins for Standard Play; Gold Coins have no cash value and cannot be redeemed. To make a purchase, sign in, open Wallet, choose Buy Gold Coins, and follow the payment options shown in your account. The available methods can vary, so use the live purchase screen rather than assuming a particular card, coin, or network is supported.
What “deposit” means on Stake.us
Stake.us’s Terms say that buying Gold Coins purchases a license for Standard Play and “is not a deposit of funds which can be withdrawn.” Gold Coins are used for Standard Play, have no monetary value, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Stake.us also uses Stake Cash, a promotional sweepstakes-entry currency. Stake Cash cannot be purchased directly, and Gold Coins cannot be converted into Stake Cash. A Gold Coin bundle may include promotional Stake Cash, but whether it does—and how much—is shown on the purchase page. Buying Gold Coins does not itself create a withdrawable balance.

How to buy Gold Coins
- Sign in to an eligible account. Check the current terms for location eligibility before registering or making a purchase.
- Open Wallet and select Buy Gold Coins. This is the route shown in Stake.us’s crypto purchase guide.
- Choose a bundle and payment method available in your account. Review the displayed price and any bundle details, including whether promotional Stake Cash is included. The official sources do not publish a complete current list of payment methods for every account or location.
- Confirm the purchase using a payment method that belongs to you. Stake.us’s terms require payment methods and credentials to be legally and beneficially owned by the customer and in the customer’s name; the company may request documents to verify ownership.
Stake.us’s terms state a maximum Gold Coin purchase amount of $9,000 per day. The terms also make the customer responsible for purchase-related transaction and exchange costs. There is no universal fee schedule in the cited sources, so check the amount shown by Stake.us and any charges from your payment provider.

Paying with cryptocurrency
Stake.us’s crypto guide, dated March 7, 2025, describes sending cryptocurrency from an external crypto platform to the purchase address displayed by Stake.us. Follow the coin and network options in your own purchase flow; availability can vary, and the guide does not establish a complete current menu for every account.
- In Wallet, select Buy Gold Coins, choose a bundle, and select an available cryptocurrency.
- Choose the network shown for that purchase. Match both the cryptocurrency and network to the live screen.
- Copy the purchase address shown by Stake.us and verify it before sending. Do not use an address or network from an old example or a previous purchase.
- Send the cryptocurrency from your external platform and wait for the required blockchain confirmations. Stake.us says the account is credited after confirmation.
Stake.us’s supported-networks article, dated August 29, 2024, warns that sending through an unsupported network can result in loss. Its examples are not an exhaustive current list. The purchase screen is the safer guide for the specific transfer you are making.

If a crypto purchase is pending
Blockchain confirmations happen automatically and cannot be sped up by Stake.us. Network congestion and the transaction fee affect how long confirmation takes; Stake.us warns that a fee that is too low can cause a transaction to expire. For a delayed purchase, check Transactions > Purchases in your account. If the purchase is missing or you used an unsupported network, contact Stake.us support. Payment route considerations
- Options and availability: Use only payment methods displayed in your account. The sources do not establish that any specific fiat method, cryptocurrency, or network is available to every user.
- Fees and timing: Purchase-related exchange or transaction costs are your responsibility. For crypto, network conditions and fees affect confirmation time; the sources do not establish one route as universally cheapest or fastest.
- Later redemption currency: The terms tie redemption currency to purchase history: fiat purchases require fiat redemption while Stake Cash remains in the wallet, and crypto purchases require cryptocurrency redemption. The balance must reach zero before switching purchase/redemption currency. Redemption itself is subject to eligibility and the current terms.
- Account security: Stake.us recommends multi-factor authentication and requires customers to keep credentials secure; customers are responsible for activity on their accounts.
Eligibility and free participation
Stake.us limits use to eligible locations, and its state restrictions can change. Review the current Terms before creating an account or purchasing. Stake.us states that no purchase or payment is necessary to participate.
