Build a Construct around its job and team: choose Memory set bonuses that support that role, then select resonance effects that strengthen the skills used in its rotation. A common starting point is four Memories from a main set and two from a secondary set, but the right combination depends on the Construct, rank, team, game mode, and investment.
Start with the Construct’s role and team
Before upgrading equipment, decide what the Construct needs to do in the team: deal most of the damage, provide tank functions, or support teammates. Then consider what the other team members already provide. A set that adds team utility or energy can be more useful than a personal damage effect if it helps the team’s plan.
There is no universal best build. Character-specific recommendations can change with rank, investment, team composition, game mode, and patch. Use a current build reference for the named Construct and team, and check the relevant effects in-game before spending scarce resources. The community-maintained PGR build sheet is one reference; its recommendations are not a substitute for checking your own roster and circumstances.

How Memory sets and slots work
A Construct can equip six Memories. Matching Memories activate set bonuses at two and four pieces, so a common starting arrangement is four pieces of a main set plus two pieces of a secondary set. Treat that as a heuristic, not a rule: which effects to combine depends on the character’s job and the team’s needs.

Memory versions correspond to particular grid positions, so check the slot as well as the set name when equipping them. The community wiki recommends placing Memories with stronger HP/CRIT profiles in upper slots and those with stronger ATK/DEF profiles in lower slots when possible. Use the stats shown for your Memories and prioritize the overall build; the precise best placement depends on the available pieces.
Enhancement raises Memory stats without changing the set-bonus values. The community wiki also describes Memories as eligible for overclocking and resonance. Since these investments consume resources, first confirm that the Memory and its set belong in the intended build.

Choose Memory resonance for the intended rotation
Memory resonance is not simply a generic stat reroll. The community wiki describes two resonance slots per Memory, with five-star resonance not tied to a specific Construct and six-star resonance bound to a chosen Construct. It also describes distinct top- and bottom-slot pools for six-star Memories, with effects tied to abilities such as orb skills, basic attacks, signature skills, QTEs, core passives, or class passives.
Choose effects based on what the Construct actually uses. A damage dealer’s rotation may benefit from a different skill focus than a support or a build that relies on QTEs. Before committing a six-star Memory resonance, check that it is assigned to the Construct you intend to use and that the effect supports that build’s rotation. Exact effect names and mechanics can change; verify them in the current game client.

Weapons: verify the mechanic before investing
Weapon skills, resonance, harmonization, and equip compatibility are part of the equipment system, but the available references do not establish a complete, authoritative account of current weapon resonance costs, effects, or harmonization steps. Check the in-game descriptions and current character-specific guidance before following instructions that name a menu, cost, unlock requirement, or exact effect.
Players sometimes use “weapon harmony” to refer to weapon harmonization. A community discussion describes it as assigning a two-piece Memory set bonus to a six-star weapon, while distinguishing Memory resonance as an upgrade to stats or skill levels. That thread is useful for understanding player terminology, not as sole confirmation of current rules. Do not invest based on the terminology alone; confirm the weapon’s available actions and results in-game.

Compare candidate builds before spending resources
If more than one setup seems plausible, compare them against the same practical questions rather than copying a build without its context:

- Memory bonuses: What do the two-piece and four-piece effects actually provide? Does the combination fit the job—personal damage, team utility, energy, or another need?
- Resonance target: Which skill or stat benefits the Construct’s intended rotation?
- Weapon and investment: Do you own the weapon the recommendation assumes, and is the added investment worth its resource cost for your account?
- Mode and patch: Was the setup recommended for the mode you play and a version that is still current?
Keep the Construct name and team context alongside any saved build recommendation. A set or resonance choice shown for one character is not evidence that it is optimal for another.

Check patch context and current details
