There is no verified, current all-class build chart for Wartune Ultra in the available official material. Use Knight, Mage, and Archer role descriptions as starting points, then check the live skill and equipment screens before spending scarce upgrade materials: old guides describe earlier versions and may not match Ultra’s current stats, skills, or gear systems.
Start with the class role, then verify it in your game
Legacy class references offer a broad identity map, not proof of current Ultra balance. The distinction is still useful when comparing the options shown in your own character screens: physical versus magical scaling, single-target versus area damage, and damage versus durability or support.

Choose skills for the mode you are playing
Knight: weigh durability against damage
For a provisional Knight setup, inspect which live skills help you withstand incoming damage, disrupt an opponent, or contribute physical damage. The evidence does not establish a best Ultra Knight skill bar or rotation, so use the skill descriptions in your current client and evaluate them in the mode where you intend to play.

Mage: compare area damage with support
Legacy descriptions associate Mage with multi-target magic damage and healing. In the current client, compare the actual damage and support effects offered by available skills rather than assuming either role is always more valuable. Party needs and the encounter can change that trade-off.
Archer: distinguish single-target, area, and utility skills
7Road’s 2021 Archer skill reference lists abilities spanning single-target and multi-target attacks, back-row attacks, debuffs, and support effects. For example, it lists Aimed Shot as dealing 162%–234% physical damage, with a 20% chance to increase critical damage by 20% for two turns. Those are figures from a post-Knighthood Wartune reference, not verified current Ultra coefficients; check the live in-game description before building around them. The reference does not establish the best current Ultra skill bar.

Build around the stats your current version actually uses
A 2014 refinement guide for Wartune Hall of Heroes recommends separating magical and physical builds: it favors MATK and Intelligence for Mage, and physical attack with Strength or Power for Knight and Archer. It also frames Crit versus Will Destroyer as a build choice, advising Crit-oriented builds to seek Crit and Will Destroyer builds not to use an attribute slot on Crit. These recommendations are historical and should only be applied if the same attributes and effects exist in your current Ultra mode.

The guide’s useful general principle is to choose a relevant attribute at a lower level rather than a higher-level attribute that does not fit the build. Before refining, compare the actual available attributes and their effects in your client. If Crit, Will Destroyer, Block, or the old stat labels are absent or behave differently, do not spend materials based on the 2014 advice.
Check the live gear system before choosing an upgrade route
A legacy equipment wiki describes eight gear pieces and historical acquisition routes through the Blacksmith, Arena Shop, and Crypt Shop. It says blacksmith synthesis occurred every ten levels from level 20; Arena Shop sets every ten levels from level 35, subject to honor and insignia; and Crypt Shop items required tokens and floor progress. These routes and slot counts are not confirmed for current Wartune Ultra, so use the shops, item slots, and requirements currently shown in your game instead.

Official Ultra notices demonstrate why version checks matter. The V3.7 notice (January 19, 2026) describes Sylph Equipment upgrades from fully enhanced level-80 SSS rank to EX rank, a maximum equipment level of 90, and a selectable affix that boosts reforged attributes. The V3.8 notice (April 6, 2026) introduces Mighty Weapon forging, with Normal Forge using Mithril and Advanced Forge using Adamantite. These are update-specific system details, not a complete gear guide or confirmation that the same options remain unchanged in your client.

That is a concrete example of why a skill setup that works in one mode may not describe another. The located notices do not establish which version is live on October 7, 2026; defer to your in-game release and descriptions. The V3.7 notice itself says, “Please refer to the in-game version for the final release.”

A practical comparison before spending materials
- Identify the mode and version. Check the current client and the activity you are building for. Dungeon-specific skill rules can differ from a Lord’s normal character skills.
- Read the live skill descriptions. Note damage type, targets, and any defensive, healing, buff, or debuff effects. Do not assume legacy coefficients still apply.
- Match gear attributes to the observed scaling. Compare the actual item stats and refinement options available in Ultra; historical labels such as MATK, Strength, or Will Destroyer may not map directly to the current system.
- Compare opportunity costs before upgrading. Check the item, affix, and enhancement materials required in the current interface. Historical shop routes do not establish today’s best acquisition path.
- Make one change at a time where practical. Compare the resulting character panel or skill effects in the same mode, so you can tell whether the change helped rather than relying on an old build template.
No sourced current best-in-slot comparison, class win rates, or verified October 2026 optimal builds are available for these three classes. Treat the role framework as a way to organize your own in-game checks, not a claim about a current meta.
