Build Pearl as an Elation sustain and support: pair her with Elation allies to increase the action advance from her Ultimate, and choose a non-Pearl ally whose turns can make strong use of its Certified Banger and Punchline burst. Pearl also heals and mitigates damage, so the rest of the team can be chosen to provide damage, additional sustain, or both.
How Pearl’s team-building works
Pearl’s kit is DEF-oriented and combines team healing and damage mitigation with Elation support. Her 180-Energy Ultimate grants Certified Banger and designates a non-Pearl ally as the Aesthetic Archetype. The target’s action advance increases with the number of Elation characters in the team; with four or more Elation characters, that ally also receives an extra turn. Prydwen’s Pearl guide describes these mechanics in its Patch 4.6 build update.
That creates two team-building questions: how much you value the action advance and extra turn, and which teammate can convert Pearl’s burst into the most useful damage or additional Ultimate activity. A full Elation lineup maximizes the team-count benefit, but a mixed lineup can still be attractive when a particular non-Pearl ally makes better use of Pearl’s support.

Pearl best teams
| Lineup | What it offers | What to consider |
|---|---|---|
| Pearl / Silver Wolf LV.999 / Aventurine • Waveflair / Yao Guang | A current mixed-team example recommended by Icy Veins. It includes damage and support roles alongside Aventurine • Waveflair’s sustain, while giving Pearl several possible Aesthetic Archetype targets. | It has fewer Elation teammates than a full-Elation setup, so it does not reach the four-Elation extra-turn condition. Which ally you designate depends on the encounter and the burst you want to emphasize. |
| Pearl / Evanescia / Trailblazer (Elation) / Yao Guang | A full-Elation alternative listed by Icy Veins. The four Elation characters satisfy the team-count condition for the Aesthetic Archetype’s extra turn. | It requires access to those specific characters, and whether it is preferable depends on the roles and characters available on your account. |
These are guide-recommended examples, not proof that either lineup is optimal for every roster or encounter. Compare the Elation count, the chosen target’s ability to use the burst, the team’s sustain and damage roles, and which characters you actually own.

Choose the Aesthetic Archetype target
The target must be a non-Pearl ally. Icy Veins advises choosing the character who benefits most from the Certified Banger and Punchline burst; the right choice can change with the lineup and the fight.
- Silver Wolf LV.999: Icy Veins describes her converting Punchline into Hidden MMR and notes that Pearl’s Ultimate can be timed to line up with Silver Wolf’s turns.
- Yao Guang: The guide identifies her as another possible target when more frequent Ultimates are useful.
- Aventurine • Waveflair: Icy Veins also describes him as a strong target, with the qualification that this choice restricts him to Elation teams.
Treat these as target-selection options rather than a universal ranking. Consider who can act when Pearl’s burst is available and which character’s Ultimate or burst sequence matters most in that encounter.

Relic stats and endgame targets
Prydwen recommends Outgoing Healing or DEF% for the body, Speed for the feet, DEF% for the planar sphere, and Energy Regeneration Rate for the link rope. Its substat order is Speed, then DEF%. The guide’s suggested endgame ranges are 2,500–3,500 DEF, 160–180 Speed, and 50% Effect RES; these are guide targets, not fixed requirements for every account or stage of progression.

Prydwen identifies Colors for Tomorrow as Pearl’s signature Light Cone and says it improves healing and DEF-based sustain. It lists Mushy Shroomy’s Adventures as a free-to-play option. HSR Build also lists A Little Getaway as a budget four-star fit. Compare what you have by DEF contribution, Energy or Speed utility, and relevant Elation effects; the guides do not make the signature mandatory.

Relic and planar sets
Prydwen recommends Dreamlit Actor first, with Diviner of Distant Reach and Warrior Goddess of Sun and Thunder as alternatives. Its planar options are Broken Keel and Sprightly Vonwacq. HSR Build also names Dreamlit Actor and Sprightly Vonwacq in its version 4.6 Pearl build.
Trace priority: current guides disagree
The two Patch 4.6 build guides do not give the same trace order, so there is no single uncontested priority established by these recommendations.

Use the lists as attributed guide recommendations, not as a measured result establishing one order for every account. HSR Build’s version-status caveat matters when interpreting its recommendations.

What the version 4.6 advice establishes
Prydwen’s profile is dated October 1, 2026 and identifies its last major build review as Patch 4.6. HSR Build’s page carries a September 26, 2026 update date and a version 4.6 label, while also saying that version 4.6 is not yet released. The official HoYoverse Pearl character page confirms the character page and provides lore, but does not supply tactical build advice.
