Build around the stage, not a supposedly universal “best team”: choose a damage dealer who fits the encounter, support that unit with useful buffs or enemy debuffs, and leave room for survival and replacement coverage. In Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade, your available characters, their skills, Recollection Bits, and the stage’s demands all shape what works.

What you can put on a team

Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade is a turn-based mobile RPG in which players build teams to fight cursed spirits. Sumzap describes the game as free to play with some paid content and highlights custom team battles on its official game page. The Japanese Google Play listing describes it as a turn-based RPG and showed its latest update as 18 September 2026; store details can differ by region, so that listing does not establish every global-server detail.

A community-maintained Beginner’s Guide describes four main units at the start of battle, one sub unit that replaces a defeated main unit, and an optional support borrowed from another player. Treat those slots as a guide-level description and check your current in-game interface in case it has changed.

The guide also describes three command skills, an ultimate that becomes usable when its gauge fills, passive auto skills, and Recollection Bits equipped by characters. Those elements affect more than individual character strength: they determine how your team builds damage, sustains a fight, and responds to the encounter.

Build around the stage and a damage plan

Check the encounter first

Read the stage’s enemy information and any stated restrictions before choosing characters. Some player discussions mention late-game stages that favor particular attributes or impose restrictions, but those discussions are anecdotal; verify the requirement in the stage itself rather than assuming it applies broadly.

Choose a damage dealer who fits

Start with a character whose damage type and skills make sense for the encounter. Rarity or a broad tier label alone does not establish that a character is the right pick for a particular stage. The official sources cited here do not publish a current tier list.

Support that plan with skills

Review the command, ultimate, and passive skills of the other units. Look for buffs that improve the damage plan or debuffs that weaken the target. The Beginner’s Guide gives an example of supports increasing damage so a primary attacker can hit harder; it also describes concentrating buffs or debuffs around one damage dealer as an option for some fights, not a rule for every stage.

Equip Recollection Bits for the role

Choose Recollection Bits whose effects complement what each character is meant to do. The guide confirms that characters equip these items, but the sources cited here do not establish a current, complete best-in-slot list. Check the effects shown in your game and match them to the role and skills you are building around.

Keep a fallback and consider borrowed support

The sub slot can provide replacement coverage if a main unit is defeated. A borrowed support may fill a missing role, such as adding a useful buff or debuff. Consider both when they help your plan; neither changes the need to fit the lineup to the stage.

Make skill timing part of the lineup

Team composition and action choices work together. The guide says command skills contribute to the battle sequence and an ultimate becomes available when its gauge is full. Before committing to a plan, check the skill effects and any costs in the live game, then choose actions with the ultimate gauge and the effects you need in mind. Exact skill effects can change, so rely on the current in-game descriptions.

Compare two candidate teams

These are practical comparison questions, not official scoring criteria. Use them to decide which of two lineups better fits the encounter:

  1. Damage plan: Does the chosen dealer’s damage type and skill set fit the stage, and do allied buffs or enemy debuffs support that plan?
  2. Stage fit: Does the lineup meet the encounter’s stated restrictions and answer its enemy demands?
  3. Survival and coverage: Can the four main slots and sub slot keep the plan going if a unit is defeated? Does a borrowed support add something the team lacks?
  4. Equipment and timing: Do the Recollection Bits and action sequence help the team carry out its intended plan?

Adjust the team when a fight goes wrong

Identify the main reason the plan failed before swapping characters: damage may be too low, the team may not survive long enough, a stage mechanic may be unanswered, or skill timing may be poor. Change one part of the lineup at a time so you can judge whether the adjustment addresses that problem. This is a practical troubleshooting approach based on the team and skill structure described in the guide, not a claimed test result.

Why there is no single best lineup here

The sources cited here do not establish a strongest current named lineup for a particular server and patch. They do not provide a date-matched roster, balance state, current banner pool, or unit-by-unit ranking. Since stages and player rosters differ, a fixed recommendation would be less useful than checking the live stage and the skills of the characters you actually have.
