You can build a useful Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium team without chasing every limited Doll: choose one damage dealer you can invest in, then add Dolls whose Phase, utility, and survivability support that carry. For a practical starting core, the current Global community guide points to Qiongjiu, Tololo, Sabrina, and Centaureissi, with accessible options such as Qiongjiu + Sharkry + Centaureissi for Burn. Treat these as dated fan-guide recommendations—not official rankings—and adapt them to your roster and the stage.
Start with a carry and a job for each teammate
A strong squad is a package of complementary roles, not a collection of unrelated high-tier names. First choose a damage dealer you already own and can finish building. Then look for Dolls that help that carry deal damage, activate or strengthen its Phase plan, or keep the team alive. The current community composition guide says a full roster of limited characters is not necessary for story, events, or Platoon modes. Girls’ Frontline 2 Team Compositions
Class names offer a useful first clue, though they do not replace checking a Doll’s kit: Bulwark generally signals a defensive frontliner, Sentinel a primary damage dealer, Vanguard a mobile scout or secondary damage dealer, and Support healing, buffs, or other utility. - Carry: The Doll you expect to supply most of the squad’s damage.
- Enabler: A teammate who helps the carry’s Phase or attack pattern work effectively.
- Survival and utility: Healing, shielding, defensive presence, or another tool the encounter calls for.
Do not force a complete mono-Phase squad if your roster cannot support one. A coherent core is a useful starting point; enemy weaknesses and the stage objective still matter.

Accessible cores to build around
The recommendations below reflect an unofficial Global team guide updated September 5, 2026, describing content around late August 2026. They are starting points, not guarantees that every mission requires the same lineup. Current team-composition guide
| Phase | Reference core in the guide | Accessible route or swap | When to consider it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Corrosion | Klukai with support and enablers | Nemesis is a Corrosion option; Sabrina can help when survival is the concern. | When you can support a Corrosion carry or need a survival-oriented option. |
| Electric | Leva or Lenna with setup | Mosin-Nagant can serve as a stopgap carry until a limited Electric carry is available. | When your available damage dealer and setup fit an Electric plan. |
| Freeze | Makiatto with Freeze utility | Lotta plus a shielder is the guide’s budget route when Makiatto is missing. | When you have Freeze utility and need a defensive teammate. |
| Hydro | Springfield support with Tololo damage | Tololo is the accessible damage starting point; Centaureissi or Sabrina can cover survival needs. | When Tololo is your built carry and the fight calls for Hydro support or more survivability. |
| Burn | Qiongjiu with Vector as an engine or enabler | Qiongjiu + Sharkry + Centaureissi is a named accessible team; Vector is an upgrade, not a requirement to start. | When Qiongjiu is available and you can assemble the Burn core. |
The beginner guide prioritizes Qiongjiu and Tololo among standard-pool Dolls, and also describes Sabrina and Mosin-Nagant as usable choices. Girls’ Frontline 2 Best Dolls Guide If you already have one of these built, start there rather than holding resources for a perfect roster. The team guide also describes Suomi as flexible support, not a prerequisite for Electric or Burn, and notes Qiongjiu can flex into teams that benefit from frequent attacks. Team-composition guide
Rank #2
- A Kotobukiya Japanese import
- From Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium comes a figure of Springfield
- Her pose is the definition of grace and elegance—as if she's waltzing right out of a ballroom.
- The vivid blue dress is finished with sharply defined folds and slightly tone-shifted pearlescent paint
- Graceful from every angle, she makes a standout addition to any Commander’s collection
Invest in a finished core before spreading resources
A Doll’s rarity or ranking is not a substitute for a working build. Current community advice favors finishing one carry and one support at V0 over leaving several Dolls partly developed. Follow the build sequence below, using the Doll’s actual rotation and role to guide choices rather than treating every upgrade as equally urgent. Best Dolls Guide
Recommended Free Tools
- Pick the carry you can complete. Prefer an owned damage dealer whose Phase or attacks can work with your available teammates.
- Bring the Doll to your current Commander level cap.
- Unlock Neural Expansion as needed.
- Equip a matching weapon and improve attachments.
- Select useful Neural Helix Keys. Favor Keys that support how the Doll actually takes its turns and uses its kit.
- Finish a support before starting another carry. Expand the roster when the first core is functional, or when a stage demands a different matchup.
This is community build guidance, not a developer-mandated progression rule. The progression reference for class and Neural Helix context is older, so use the current Doll guide for its dated recommendations and check in-game descriptions for the latest implementation. Prydwen progression guide

Use cover, Stability, and weaknesses to make the roster work
When a team feels underpowered, the problem may be positioning or matchup rather than the absence of a top-tier Doll. Stability provides substantial protection while a unit is covered; when Stability reaches zero, that protection is lost and the enemy is more vulnerable. Attacks that exploit a Phase or weapon weakness can help deal damage and pressure Stability. Combat, Cover, and Tiles guide
- Use available cover deliberately rather than leaving units exposed without a reason.
- Look for ways to break enemy Stability before committing attacks meant to exploit the resulting vulnerability.
- Check the stage’s Phase and weapon weaknesses when choosing attackers.
- Consider whether flanking, melee, qualifying area attacks, or high-ground attacks change how cover applies on the map.
Combat references also describe turn phases and weakness mechanics; the cited overview is older than the 2026 Global team snapshot, so rely on current in-game tooltips for exact ability behavior. Prydwen Combat Guide

- From the strategic simulation game "Dolls Front Line" for smartphones, the Vector, a submachine gun tactical doll is now available in 1/7

Change the squad for the assignment
Do not bring a favorite lineup to every encounter by default. The team guide recommends choosing around the map and matchup, while the combat guide explains why weakness exploitation and Stability matter. Team-composition guide Combat and tiles guide
- Story or event stage: Use the most complete core you have, with a defensive or support swap if survival is the obstacle.
- Boss or Platoon encounter: Match the boss’s Phase weakness where your roster allows it; a protected target may call for better positioning or Stability breaking.
- Timed wave clear: Favor the damage lineup you can field and invest in that clears waves efficiently.
- Frequent defeats or fragile units: Trade some damage for a shielder, support, or safer positioning rather than assuming the answer is a rarer carry.
Before committing to a swap, compare the options on five practical questions: does the Phase match the enemy, is the carry already invested, do the enablers fit its kit, does the stage need more survival, and can you afford the weapons, attachments, and Keys for the build?
