To organize elements in manual mode, drag them on the canvas, then use the right-click menu to change which overlapping element appears in front. Use section Layout settings for alignment and spacing, and check the mobile editor separately: desktop reordering does not automatically reorder mobile elements.
Move elements and change their stacking order
- Position an element: In the editor canvas, drag it to the preferred location. For element-level controls and adding or customizing elements, see the manual-mode element guide.
- Open the element menu: Right-click the element. Choose Bring to front to move it to the front of the stack, or Send to back to move it to the back.
- Adjust by one layer: Choose Move forwards or Send backwards to change the element’s stacking position one step at a time.
These four commands change overlap order; they do not control alignment or spacing within a section. The menu also includes Cut, Copy, Paste, Duplicate, Rotate, and Delete.
Move several elements or transfer one to another section
You can select multiple elements and move them together. The documented guidance establishes group movement, but does not establish that every right-click command—such as layering or duplicating—works on a multi-selection.
Elements can be moved between sections, with slideshow, blog, and product sections excluded. A cross-section move can also affect both desktop and mobile layouts and may distort the result, so use it cautiously and inspect both views afterward.

Set alignment and spacing within a section
For section-level layout rather than front-to-back order, select the section and open its Layout settings. The available controls are Snap to guides, Snap to elements, Row height, and Row gap. These settings are saved per section. You can also use the section’s height handle or move the section up or down. See the manual-mode section guide for section controls.
Recheck the mobile layout
- Switch from the desktop editor to the mobile editor and inspect the arrangement.
- Reposition elements in the mobile view where needed. Its initial order follows the order elements were added on desktop, but later desktop reordering does not automatically update mobile order.
- When adjusting mobile placement, prefer moving elements within the same section. Moving an element across sections affects desktop as well and may distort the layout.
- Remember that deleting an element in either view deletes it in the other. If an element is missing only on one device type, check the eye icon in the layers panel; it can hide an element on a specific device.
