As of October 7, 2026, The Crew Motorfest’s new island, Kauaʻi, is available in free Season 11 content. Update the game, open its Playlist or Activity menu, and select Kauaʻi Expeditions to begin the island’s off-road exploration campaign. Ubisoft’s published notes do not specify an exact button sequence or a player-level requirement.
Start Kauaʻi Expeditions
- Update The Crew Motorfest. Season 11 became available on October 7, 2026, according to Ubisoft’s Season 11 update notes.
- Open the in-game Playlist or Activity menu. Ubisoft has described a reworked Activity Menu layout, but its published notes do not give a precise Season 11 tile location or platform-specific button prompts.
- Select Kauaʻi Expeditions. It is the free Season 11 playlist for exploring the island. The official material does not state that a particular player level or introductory event is required to access it.
If the playlist does not appear, confirm the game has the Season 11 update and check the Playlist or Activity interface again. The available official descriptions do not establish a further unlock condition; do not assume that a pass is needed for Kauaʻi.

What you do on Kauaʻi
Kauaʻi Expeditions is an exploration campaign, not simply a set of races. Ubisoft describes activities involving surveying terrain, opening blocked routes, and transporting cargo. Selected vehicles can use the Season 11 Winch feature to clear obstacles and haul cargo during specific activities. The playlist is built around off-road discovery.
Ubisoft’s Season 11 overview gives Kauaʻi 95 km of asphalt and 105 km of off-road routes; those are the publisher’s 2026 figures, not independently measured real-world distances. The same overview says Road Progression records exploration as you drive across Oʻahu, Maui, and Kauaʻi, gradually revealing routes.

Kauaʻi and Niʻihau are different islands with different access
Choose Kauaʻi Expeditions for the free Season 11 island campaign. The separate Tomb Raider-themed Secrets of Ni’ihau playlist takes place on Niʻihau and requires Year Pass 4 or the separately sold DLC. Selecting that playlist does not start Kauaʻi content, and purchasing a pass is not necessary to access Kauaʻi.
| Content | Access | Activity focus |
|---|---|---|
| Kauaʻi and Kauaʻi Expeditions | Free Season 11 content, available October 7, 2026 | Off-road exploration, route clearing, and cargo tasks |
| Niʻihau and Secrets of Ni’ihau | Year Pass 4 or standalone DLC | Tomb Raider-themed playlist |
Ubisoft’s Season 11 overview and official update notes describe Kauaʻi Expeditions as free content and identify the Ni’ihau playlist as pass or DLC content. The base game is still required to play.
