The Garmin Venu 3S can support a return to running with a dedicated running profile, Garmin Coach plans, and wrist-based running metrics. It is a 41 mm GPS smartwatch, but its features cannot guarantee that anyone will enjoy running: the “transformed me” framing belongs to one writer’s personal account, not a general product outcome.

Garmin specifies an 18 mm quick-release band. Check both the width and the watch’s compatibility before buying a replacement band; “quick-release” alone does not establish that a band will fit.

Garmin’s figures below are maximum manufacturer estimates, not guaranteed results. The manual notes that actual battery life varies with enabled features and use, including activity tracking, wrist heart rate, notifications, GPS, and connected sensors.

The Venu 3S uses a proprietary plug charger. If replacing a cable, confirm that it is intended for this watch rather than assuming a generic charging lead will work. For a replacement band, confirm the 18 mm width and quick-release compatibility.

The September 2026 article reported an Amazon price of $288 and a 36% discount at that time. Those are historical figures, not a current offer; check the seller’s live listing for today’s price and availability.

The Venu 3S is a plausible option for someone who wants a 41 mm GPS smartwatch with running tracking, Garmin Coach plans, and wrist-based running metrics. The cited specifications do not establish how it compares in overall quality with other running watches, and no product feature can promise a change in how a person feels about running.
