Helio G100 leads Snapdragon 685 in NanoReview’s displayed AnTuTu 11 and Geekbench 6 aggregates, but those figures compare results from different phones—not two chips tested in identical handsets. For a buying decision, use the scores as a directional comparison, then compare the exact phone models, regional versions, and prices.
Snapdragon 685 vs Helio G100: key differences
| Specification | Snapdragon 685 | Helio G100 |
|---|---|---|
| CPU configuration | Four Cortex-A73 cores and four Cortex-A53 cores; listed peak clock up to 2.8 GHz | Two Cortex-A76 cores up to 2.2 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores up to 2.0 GHz |
| GPU | Adreno 610 | Arm Mali-G57 MC2 |
| Manufacturing process | 6 nm, as listed by NanoReview | TSMC 6 nm, according to MediaTek |
| Memory and storage support | LPDDR4X and UFS 2.2, as listed by NanoReview | LPDDR4X and UFS 2.2, according to MediaTek |
| Display support | FHD+ refresh support up to 120 FPS, according to Qualcomm | Up to 2520 × 1080 resolution and 120 Hz, according to MediaTek |
| Camera support | Up to 108 MP single-camera capture; triple ISP support | Up to 200 MP camera support; dual-camera capability |

| Wi-Fi and Bluetooth | Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1, according to Qualcomm | Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.2, according to MediaTek |
The specifications above describe platform support, not a guarantee that a phone includes every feature or reaches every listed ceiling. Phone manufacturers choose the screen, camera sensors, memory configuration, and implementation. For example, a chipset’s maximum camera resolution does not by itself determine photo quality.
The Bluetooth specification for Helio G100 differs between sources: MediaTek lists Bluetooth 5.2, while NanoReview lists 5.4. Check the precise phone specification if Bluetooth version matters to your purchase.
Which chipset is faster in benchmarks?
NanoReview’s displayed aggregates favor Helio G100 in the listed AnTuTu 11 and Geekbench 6 results. The figures below were accessed on October 7, 2026, and represent submissions from different devices, not a controlled comparison using matched phone designs.

| Benchmark | Snapdragon 685 | Helio G100 | Reported sample basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| AnTuTu 11 | 476,175 | 575,630 | 83 Snapdragon 685 tests; 133 Helio G100 tests |

| PCMark 3.0 | 8,933 | 10,665 | Phones tested: 9 Snapdragon 685 models; 14 Helio G100 models |
These are NanoReview’s mixed-device aggregates, not scores from phones tested side by side under identical conditions. The comparison page reports the sample counts shown above; results can shift as submissions are added. Compare scores only within the same benchmark version, and do not treat a percentage difference as a guaranteed gain in gaming, battery life, or everyday responsiveness.
Why the higher CPU clock does not settle the comparison
Snapdragon 685 has the higher listed peak clock, up to 2.8 GHz, while Helio G100’s two performance cores reach up to 2.2 GHz. Clock speed alone is not a ranking: the chips use different CPU core generations and arrangements. Helio G100’s two Cortex-A76 cores are paired with six Cortex-A55 cores; Snapdragon 685 is listed with four Cortex-A73 and four Cortex-A53 cores.
Rank #2
- Carrier: This phone is locked to Tracfone, which means this device can only be used on the Tracfone wireless network. Tracfone plan required, activating is easy, just 3 steps.
- DISPLAY: Immersive viewing on a 6.7-inch super-bright 120Hz display with powerful stereo speakers and Bass Boost for cinematic entertainment.
- CAMERA SYSTEM: Advanced 50MP Quad Pixel camera captures sharp, detailed photos and videos in any lighting condition
- PERFORMANCE: Lightning-fast 5G connectivity paired with a powerful processor and RAM Boost for smooth multitasking.
- BATTERY LIFE: Long-lasting 5000mAh battery with TurboPower charging technology delivers hours of power in minutes.
Real performance also depends on the phone’s cooling, firmware, memory, software, and power configuration. A chip-level aggregate cannot establish how a particular handset performs during a long gaming session or under sustained workload.
Graphics, gaming, and display support
Snapdragon 685 uses Adreno 610 graphics, while Helio G100 uses Mali-G57 MC2 graphics. The GPU names alone do not establish which phone will deliver higher frame rates: game settings, drivers, cooling, and sustained performance all matter. A fair gaming comparison requires the specific phones to be tested in the same game at the same settings.

MediaTek lists Helio G100 display support up to 2520 × 1080 at 120 Hz. Qualcomm lists FHD+ refresh support up to 120 FPS for Snapdragon 685. Those are platform ceilings, not confirmation that a given phone has a 120 Hz screen or that a game will render at that rate.
Camera and video capabilities
Qualcomm lists up to 108 MP single-camera capture and triple ISP support for Snapdragon 685. MediaTek lists up to 200 MP camera support and dual-camera capability for Helio G100. These figures describe platform capabilities; they do not predict image quality, which also depends on the phone’s sensors, lenses, image processing, and software.

Connectivity: both chipsets are 4G, not 5G
Both are 4G platforms. Qualcomm identifies an X11 LTE modem and LTE Category 13 for Snapdragon 685; MediaTek lists Cat-13 LTE for Helio G100. Neither should be treated as a 5G chipset. Modem capability also does not guarantee reception or speeds on a specific carrier, which depend on supported bands, network conditions, and the phone’s implementation.

How to choose between phones using these chipsets
Compare the complete phones rather than choosing from processor names alone. NanoReview lists the Redmi Note 13 4G and Realme 13 4G as examples with Snapdragon 685, and the Tecno Camon 40 Pro 4G and Infinix Note 50 Pro 4G as examples with Helio G100. That is an illustrative list, not confirmation of current stock, regional variants, or the exact specifications of every version.
Quick Recap
- Confirm the exact model and regional SKU. Names can cover variants with different bands or configurations. Verify the model number and local network compatibility.
- Compare memory and storage. Platform support does not tell you how much RAM or storage a phone maker installed.
- Check the screen and camera hardware. Look at the actual panel, camera sensors, and supported recording modes rather than relying on chipset ceilings.
- Look for sustained performance and heat evidence. A short benchmark aggregate does not show how a specific phone behaves during extended gaming or heavy use.
- Weigh battery endurance, software support, and price. These phone-level factors can matter more to ownership than a difference in aggregate chipset scores.
