Why a single hour figure would be misleading
Even a well-tested fan project can produce widely different times. The following variables matter particularly for a ROM hack built on Ocarina of Time.
Previous experience with the base game

Look for the full name The Legend of Zelda – Sands of Time and the Nintendo 64 platform. A search result that only says “Sands of Time” may refer to the unrelated Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. Confirming the base game as Ocarina of Time prevents you from timing the wrong software.

Plan for technical troubleshooting
Because player comments mention bugs and patches, keep a backup of save files and record any patch you apply.
