The Last Light Redux listing also describes an additional 10 hours of bonus single-player content and says that all DLC is included. That package statement is why separate Last Light DLC hours should not be added to the Redux row.

People use “complete” for several different plans. Decide which one you mean before estimating your calendar, because a story-only run and a completionist run are very different projects.

Finish the three main games
Playing the principal campaigns—Metro 2033 Redux, Metro: Last Light Redux and Metro Exodus—adds up to 35 hours using the cited main-story estimates. This is the cleanest answer if “the Metro games” means the core trilogy and you intend to follow the campaigns without pursuing every optional objective.
Finish the trilogy and both named Exodus expansions

Metro 2033 Redux
Metro 2033 Redux is the shortest of the three main games by the cited story estimate at about nine hours. Allow roughly 11.5 hours if you include the catalog’s “main plus extra” category. A completionist attempt is estimated at 23.5 hours, which is more than twice the focused campaign figure.

Metro: Last Light Redux
Last Light Redux is estimated at about 10 hours for its main story, 13.5 hours with extra content and 27.5 hours for completionist play. That makes its focused campaign only about an hour longer than Metro 2033 Redux, while its completionist estimate is four hours longer.
Redux is a bundled product rather than a base campaign that you should combine with a separate Last Light DLC package. The listing explicitly says all DLC is included and describes 10 hours of bonus single-player content. Use the Redux row as the package total and do not add another DLC line to it.
Metro Exodus
Metro Exodus is the longest main game by a wide margin in the cited figures: 16 hours for the story, 24 hours with extra content and 42 hours for completionist play. Its main-story estimate is six hours longer than Last Light Redux’s and seven hours longer than Metro 2033 Redux’s.

Sam’s Story
Sam’s Story is the larger of the two named Exodus expansions. The estimate is 5.5 hours for its story, seven hours with extra content and 8.5 hours for completionist play. Its focused story is roughly three and a half hours longer than The Two Colonels, and its completionist estimate is 5.5 hours longer.

Together, the two expansions contribute 7.5 hours of main-story content, 9.5 hours in the main-plus-extra category and 11.5 completionist hours. Those sums are useful when you already own or plan to play Metro Exodus and want to budget the add-ons separately.
Trilogy and DLC totals, calculated without double-counting
Use the following arithmetic when you want a series-wide schedule:
- Core story: 9 hours for Metro 2033 Redux + 10 hours for Last Light Redux + 16 hours for Metro Exodus = 35 hours.
- Add the two named Exodus expansions: 35 hours + 2 hours for The Two Colonels + 5.5 hours for Sam’s Story = 42.5 hours.
- Completionist package total: 23.5 + 27.5 + 42 + 3 + 8.5 = 104.5 hours.
The “main plus extra” categories sum to 58 hours across the five rows, but that is a combined category total rather than a promise that every player will experience exactly 58 hours. Most importantly, do not take a Last Light Redux completionist figure and then add a separate estimate for the original Last Light DLC. The Redux package already states that all DLC is included. If you want the story and nothing else
Use the main-story column. Budget about 35 hours for the trilogy or 42.5 hours when The Two Colonels and Sam’s Story are included. This is the closest match for a player who follows the critical path, does not deliberately search every area and accepts that occasional retries may extend the estimate.
If you want optional content but not every collectible
Use the main-plus-extra column for each package. The individual estimates range from 2.5 hours for The Two Colonels to 24 hours for Metro Exodus. For the complete five-package set, the category totals 58 hours.
If you want a 100% style run
Use the completionist column and plan around 104.5 hours for all five listed packages. Treat that number as a target for thorough play, not a guaranteed stopwatch result. If you have one weekend

Why your actual time may be higher or lower
- Exploration: Searching side areas and hidden rooms pushes a run away from the main-story estimate.
- Stealth versus combat: A cautious approach can take longer in individual encounters, while aggressive play may create more failed attempts.
