Plan on around 8–12 hours for a normal playthrough of Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival. That is Saber Interactive’s official estimate, and it is explicitly dependent on playstyle. A separate, authoritative 100% average is not available. The only early all-achievements estimate puts the 44-achievement run at 10–12 hours, but it is based on reports from just four completed players, so it should be treated as provisional rather than a guaranteed completion time.

The figures below describe different kinds of runs. The publisher’s number is a broad expected playthrough window; the review timings are individual experiences; and the achievement figure is a small-sample estimate rather than a measured population average.

Those observations broadly cluster around the publisher’s window, but they do not establish a universal average. Your result can fall outside any one of them because the official qualification is playstyle, and the two review figures are single-player reports rather than controlled tests.

It is a planning range, not a timed guarantee
Saber Interactive’s official FAQ answers the duration question with the wording “Around 8-12 hours of gameplay, depending on your playstyle.” The statement is best used to decide whether the game fits a weekend, a holiday break, or a series of shorter sessions. It is not presented as a laboratory average, a minimum completion time, or a maximum.

“Around” matters as much as the endpoints. It signals an approximate expectation, while “depending on your playstyle” leaves room for different approaches to the same campaign. The FAQ does not provide a chapter-by-chapter schedule, a difficulty-by-difficulty breakdown, or separate times for a first run and a replay. Any precise schedule beyond the stated window would therefore be an inference rather than an official statistic.
Why two players can finish at different points in the window
For a single-player first-person action horror survival game, elapsed time includes more than uninterrupted forward movement. A player who advances decisively may spend less time than someone who pauses to inspect areas, retries encounters, or takes breaks between sessions. Those are general planning effects, not separately measured features of Revival; the only game-specific guidance supplied by the publisher is that playstyle changes the duration.
Session management also changes the clock a player experiences. A campaign completed over several evenings includes menu time, restarts and interruptions that may not appear in a reviewer’s concentrated run. Conversely, a long uninterrupted session can make the same amount of gameplay feel shorter on the calendar. Use the official range as active playtime, not as a promise that the game will occupy exactly that many hours from purchase to credits.

The 44-achievement estimate
TrueAchievements’ completion-time page, accessed October 13, 2026, estimates 10–12 hours for earning all 44 achievements. That number comes from the modal completion time reported by four members who had completed the game. It is useful as an early indication that an achievement-focused run may take somewhat longer than a straightforward story completion.

The sample is too small to represent every 100% attempt. Four reports can be skewed by the players’ familiarity, route choices, missed requirements, or whether they used guides. The page is also a community estimate, not a statement from Saber Interactive. Treat it as a provisional benchmark that may change as more players submit times.
Why there is no dependable 100% average yet
Saber’s FAQ gives one playthrough estimate and does not publish a separate completionist duration. The available achievement figure does not report a large dataset, a distribution of times, or a tested route for every achievement. As a result, there is no defensible claim that every completionist run takes a particular number of hours.
For planning purposes, start with the publisher’s normal-playthrough window and recognize that achievement cleanup can add time if objectives are missed on the first pass. The evidence does not establish how much extra time a specific missed achievement requires, so a precise “story plus cleanup” formula would be invented. If 100% completion is your priority, keep a margin beyond the ordinary campaign estimate rather than scheduling to an exact finish time.

How the launch-week review times fit the picture
GamesRadar’s individual run
In its review published October 8, 2026, GamesRadar+ reported a story completion of just under nine hours. This is the reviewer’s own run, not a survey of players and not a claim that the campaign normally ends at that point. It sits toward the shorter side of Saber’s stated window and demonstrates that a focused story playthrough can finish there.

Tom’s Guide’s individual run
Also published October 8, 2026, Tom’s Guide reported a 10-hour full-campaign playthrough on PS5 Pro. The hardware detail identifies that particular review setup; it does not show that PS5 Pro owners receive a different campaign length. Like the GamesRadar figure, this is one reviewer’s experience and should not be converted into an average.
What the two reports can—and cannot—prove
Taken together, the reviews provide context for the official range: both individual runs are broadly consistent with it. They do not prove that launch players will finish in the same time, nor do they measure completionist play. Reviewers may follow different routes, use different settings, or have different familiarity with the game, and neither article supplies a controlled timing method that would make the results directly comparable.

This approach prevents a common mistake: treating a single number as if it answered every version of “beat the game.” A story-only player, an explorer and an achievement hunter are asking different duration questions. The sources support different answers for those questions, and the confidence level is not the same for each one.

Factors that can move your time
Playstyle and pace
The publisher explicitly identifies playstyle as the variable behind its range. In practical terms, a direct route and a methodical route need not produce the same elapsed time. The distinction is especially relevant when a player pauses to understand an area, retries a section, or takes breaks. These are sensible reasons to expect personal variation, but no source assigns a number of minutes to any one behavior.

Story completion versus achievement cleanup
Reaching the end of the campaign and earning all 44 achievements are separate goals. The achievement estimate is only modestly higher than the ordinary playthrough expectation, but its small sample means you should not assume that difference applies to every player. Missing an objective may require revisiting content or replaying a section; the cited sources do not quantify those tasks, so the safe choice is to preserve spare time rather than calculate an exact add-on.
Review conditions
A reviewer’s concentrated campaign run is not identical to a first-time player’s schedule. Reviews may involve long sessions, familiarity with preview material, or a deliberate focus on finishing the story. The published articles do not provide enough standardized detail to adjust their times mathematically. Use them as real examples, not as a speed benchmark you are expected to match.

Saber describes Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival as a single-player first-person action horror survival game. That classification matters when interpreting the times: the estimates concern one player progressing through one campaign, not a cooperative group’s combined schedule.
The official FAQ says the game released on October 8, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and Steam. It also confirms physical discs for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Platform availability does not create separate official length figures; Saber gives one general playthrough estimate rather than a platform-by-platform breakdown.

If you are choosing a physical copy, verify the regional listing and edition before ordering. The platform information confirms that physical PS5 and Xbox Series X|S editions exist, but it does not establish the stock, price or retailer availability in a particular country.
How confident should you be in each number?
- Highest confidence: Saber’s official FAQ is the primary source for the broad expected playthrough duration and the game’s platform information.
- Useful but limited: The two review timings are firsthand reports from named publications, yet each represents one run under that reviewer’s conditions.
- Lowest confidence: The completionist estimate is based on only four completed-player submissions and should not be treated as a stable community average.
This evidence hierarchy is more useful than presenting all times with equal weight. The official figure is the right starting point for scheduling; the reviews show that individual runs can land at different places within the broad expectation; and the achievement-site number supplies an early indication for 100% players while clearly carrying more uncertainty.
Bottom line for story and 100% players
For the main campaign, use Saber Interactive’s around-8-to-12-hour window as your schedule. The just-under-nine-hour and 10-hour review runs are consistent examples, not averages. For all 44 achievements, the only cited estimate is 10–12 hours from four completed players on TrueAchievements. It is reasonable for an early target, but the available evidence is not strong enough to promise a definitive completionist time.
