Plan for approximately 8–10 hours to complete a trophy- or achievement-focused 100% run of Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival. That is PowerPyx’s walkthrough estimate, not a guaranteed completion time. Saber Interactive’s official FAQ gives a broader expectation of around 8–12 hours of gameplay, depending on your playstyle, and does not identify that range specifically as a 100% estimate.
The bigger issue than saving an hour is avoiding a missed collectible. PowerPyx warns that relevant items can be missed, there is no Chapter Select, and areas cannot be revisited after you leave them. A careful first playthrough is therefore more reliable than rushing toward the lower end of the estimate.

These figures are not contradictory. They describe different scopes and evidence types: a publisher’s broad expectation, a guide writer’s planned completion route, and a small set of player submissions. No reliable source establishes a fixed time by difficulty, player skill, or platform, so treat any precise promise outside these ranges skeptically.
What counts as “100%” in Hellraiser: Revival?
For most players, “100%” means completing the trophy or achievement set rather than collecting every object in the game. PowerPyx’s route is built around the PlayStation Platinum and equivalent 1,000 Gamerscore. Its collectible requirements are:

A trophy-complete save can still lack optional reading material. Decide which standard you want before starting: the achievement checklist, or every discoverable item. Keeping those goals separate prevents you from assuming that a Platinum automatically means every piece of environmental lore has been found.
Why a first run can take longer than the estimate
Playstyle and exploration
Saber’s official wording makes playstyle the main acknowledged variable. Players who move directly through objectives may finish nearer the short end, while cautious players who investigate rooms, learn enemy patterns, and search for crafting components will take longer. The official range does not break out separate times for these behaviors.
Missable collectibles
The walkthrough warns that leaving an area cuts off access to it. There is no Chapter Select, and the guide says the relevant collectibles are missable. A fast run that skips a firearm or recipe may therefore require replaying the entire game rather than revisiting one chapter. In practice, stopping to search before every transition is often faster than cleaning up a missed item later.
Difficulty and player experience
PlayStation lists adjustable difficulty and manual saving as features. Those options let you tailor the run, but the cited sources do not quantify how many minutes a particular difficulty or experience level adds or removes. Do not treat an assumed difficulty modifier as an established part of the 8–10-hour figure.

How to protect a 100% run from missables
- Choose your completion standard. Write down whether you need only trophies/achievements or also every note and document. The latter is a larger collection target.
- Use a checklist outside the game. Recipes are not tracked in-game according to PowerPyx. Create 12 recipe entries and mark each one when collected, rather than relying on memory.
- Search before leaving each area. Check side rooms, shelves, corners, and interaction points before crossing an apparent point of no return. The guide’s warning applies because areas cannot be revisited.
- Record firearms and pillars immediately. Mark each of the five firearms, five Pain Pillars, and five Suffering Pillars as soon as you obtain it. This makes a later gap obvious.
- Manage crafting materials deliberately. PowerPyx notes that materials are limited. Avoid spending components casually if your checklist still contains recipes you have not crafted.
- Save before major transitions. Manual saving is listed among the PlayStation features. Use it to preserve a checkpoint before moving on, while remembering that a save does not create a Chapter Select or restore access to an area you have left.
The collectible checklist explained
Firearms
The guide identifies five firearms as part of its trophy-oriented collection. Treat weapons as checklist items even if you do not intend to use every one regularly; finding a weapon and using it are not necessarily the same objective.
Crafting recipes
There are 12 recipes in the guide’s route. Because the game does not provide an in-game recipe tracker, maintain a manual list with separate columns for “found” and “crafted” if your achievement conditions require crafting. Limited materials make this distinction important: discovering a recipe is not the same as having enough components to make it.
Pain Pillars and Suffering Pillars
Each category contains five items. Keep the categories separate in your notes so that a total of five pillars does not accidentally conceal a missing item from one group.

Decide whether you will play on a preferred difficulty for comfort or change it for a faster combat-focused run; the available sources do not establish a time advantage for either choice.

Follow the main objective only after searching the current space. Check your checklist before opening a door, activating a transition, or entering a sequence that appears to move the story elsewhere. This habit addresses the guide’s central warning about irreversible area exits.

Compare every newly found recipe with your material inventory. Since materials are limited, reserve enough components for unmade recipes instead of spending everything on optional upgrades or consumables. The game’s lack of recipe tracking means your own record is the authoritative progress log.

Do not assume that finishing the narrative will unlock a cleanup mode. The cited walkthrough specifically says there is no Chapter Select and no return to areas after leaving. Verify your checklist before the final irreversible transition, not after the credits.

Saber lists versions for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and Steam in its official FAQ. How to read the lower-confidence 10–12-hour figure
A TrueAchievements search excerpt associates 10–12 hours with completing all 44 achievements, based on four member completions. The underlying page returned a 403 when checked, so the figure cannot be independently evaluated here. It is best treated as anecdotal context rather than a consensus or a replacement for Saber’s FAQ and PowerPyx’s route estimate.
The same caution applies to claims that a specific difficulty, controller setup, or platform always changes the total by a defined number of hours. No accessible source in the available material provides those controlled comparisons.
What the estimates mean for your schedule
If you want the achievement-focused route, reserve roughly one long day or several ordinary sessions and prioritize completeness over speed. The guide’s range assumes a planned collection route, while the official range leaves room for different playstyles. A first-time player who explores slowly or pauses to read lore can exceed the guide estimate without doing anything incorrectly.
If you only want to finish the story, you do not need to follow the four collectible categories or manually track recipes. Saber’s broader gameplay estimate is the more relevant reference for that goal. If you want every note and document as well as all trophies, the published 100% number should be treated as a floor for planning rather than a guarantee.
