HyperCycle’s “Internet of AI” is a proposed peer-to-peer infrastructure layer for AI agents to communicate, coordinate, and exchange value. In an April 29, 2025 HackerNoon interview, CEO Toufi Saliba described the idea and its underlying protocol, TODA/IP. The interview and HyperCycle’s own materials explain the company’s thesis and product terminology; they do not independently establish the network’s claimed security, speed, scalability, or adoption.

What HyperCycle means by the “Internet of AI”

HyperCycle’s core proposition is that AI systems need ways to communicate and collaborate across organizational and technical boundaries, much as human communication supports collaboration. Saliba put it this way in the April 29, 2025 interview: “Effectively, we have developed the network infrastructure that enables the Internet of AI (a secure p2p network for multi-agent systems), so homo-sapiens have progressed through their ability to communicate and collaborate, AI progression of intelligence requires the ability to communicate and collaborate.” This is Saliba’s description of the project’s goal, not independent confirmation that the infrastructure is secure or operating at global scale.

The company says its system is intended to let AI agents work across open-source, closed-source, and hybrid environments. Its stated aims include autonomy, privacy, interoperability, and scaling to many agents. The practical problem it is trying to address is coordination between agents that may run on different systems, rather than simply making one AI model faster or more capable. HyperCycle’s whitepaper sets out the company’s own technical account of that vision.

How HyperCycle describes the architecture

HyperCycle’s materials use several distinct terms for software, network roles, and product packages. The company’s node explainer, published August 14, 2025, calls the Internet of AI “an open, global network for multi-agent systems, accessible for every homo-sapien and AI without exception.” That is a statement of the company’s intended scope, not evidence that the network is currently open to every person or agent.

TODA/IP

Saliba identifies TODA/IP as a foundation for peer-to-peer communication and value exchange. HyperCycle’s whitepaper describes TODA/IP as ledgerless. These are descriptions from the company and its CEO; the sources cited here do not independently demonstrate performance advantages such as orders-of-magnitude gains in speed or scalability.

HyperCycle Network Nodes (HNNs)

HyperCycle describes HNNs as the network’s main workers, running HyperCycle Node Software. The company presents them as the network-level components that do work within its architecture.

HyperCycle Boundary Nodes (HBNs)

HBNs are described by HyperCycle as bridges between the node-factory system and external platforms or services. In the company’s terminology, they are the connection point between its network and outside systems.

Node Factories and ANFEs: what the products are

HyperCycle describes a Node Factory as a route to producing HNNs, and an Advanced Node Factory Enclosure (ANFE) as a more ready-to-use package. The company’s September 10, 2025 overview says Node Factories are represented on Ethereum and ANFEs on Base. It presents an ANFE as a unified NFT package and describes both product types as ways to deploy AI computing nodes and potentially earn from machine-to-machine transactions. That revenue framing is the company’s claim; it is not a guarantee of income.

Product Chain representation (HyperCycle, September 2025) How HyperCycle describes it Purchase and operating terms
Node Factory (NF) Ethereum A way to produce HNNs; HyperCycle associates it with node deployment and machine-to-machine transactions. Current pricing, availability, licensing details, and operating terms are not established by the cited overview.
Advanced Node Factory Enclosure (ANFE) Base A unified package described as ready to use; HyperCycle says it can include node software and produce packaged software and AI agents. A July 17, 2025 company article listed a level 10 package at $2,100. That is historical pricing, not a current quote or confirmation of availability.

The ANFE should not be confused with a conventional consumer computer or a specified piece of physical hardware. HyperCycle describes it as a software and licensing product package. Its July 17, 2025 article said the package included a HyperCycle Node Software License and 1,024 CHyPCe, and listed $2,100 for level 10 through nodemarket.io at that time. Token mechanics, purchase route, bundle contents, and availability can change, so that dated listing should not be read as a current offer.

What Saliba said about node-factory sales

Saliba said in the April 2025 interview that more than 600,000 Node Factories had been sold and that each had the capacity to produce 1,024 nodes. This is a CEO-reported sales claim, not independently audited adoption data. A Podscripts transcript listing repeats the interview material and identifies HackerNoon as the original source; it does not provide separate verification.

What the available evidence does—and does not—show

The interview is useful for understanding Saliba’s rationale and the company’s intended architecture. HyperCycle’s own pages add definitions for node roles and product packages. Those sources establish how the company presents its project, but not whether its performance or security claims have been independently validated.

  • The cited sources do not provide independent testing showing that TODA/IP or HyperCycle delivers exceptional speed or scalability.
  • They do not establish that the system’s security claims have passed an external audit.
  • The reported Node Factory sales figure has not been independently verified in the cited sources.
  • The transcript listing is derivative of the HackerNoon interview, not independent corroboration.

For a reader evaluating HyperCycle, the key distinction is between a coherent product vocabulary and demonstrated network outcomes. The first is documented in the company’s materials; the second would require evidence such as independently reviewed security work, transparent performance measurements, and verifiable operating or adoption data.
