Spainlink Development Solutions, a Spain-based IT consulting firm, says Clockify saves it roughly €1,300 a month—more than €15,000 a year—in coordination and administrative time. That is the company CEO’s estimate, published in a Clockify customer story, not an independently audited or guaranteed saving.
Which IT consulting company is behind the €15,000 claim?
The company is Spainlink Development Solutions S.L., not Adesso Spain. Clockify’s customer story describes Spainlink as a firm founded in 2024, based in Spain, serving primarily US clients, and providing custom software development and technology consulting. What does “over €15,000 a year” mean?
Spainlink CEO and software engineer Jeff Frade said Clockify had saved the firm “roughly €1,300 a month, or over €15,000 a year” through reduced coordination and administration. He specifically described time the team would otherwise spend chasing project status and assembling client reports by hand. Clockify published the estimate, but its story does not explain the calculation method, baseline, measurement period, or independent validation. How Spainlink says it uses Clockify
Spainlink wanted one place to track projects, time, team capacity, and the hours it showed clients. Frade described a workflow in which developers log time against projects, managers review how capacity is being used, and the team draws reports from Clockify for client billing. Frade said the firm chose Clockify for its timesheets and reporting depth at a price it could justify as the team grew. The account presents those benefits as Spainlink’s experience; it does not provide a comparative product test or quantify how much each part of the workflow contributed to the reported savings. What other consulting firms can take from the example
The case is most useful as a description of the operational problem Spainlink wanted to solve: time records were needed both for internal capacity planning and for explaining billable hours to clients. A company evaluating time-tracking software can use those needs as a checklist:
