Clockify helped 4ofthem, a software development company, bring project time tracking and leave visibility into one workflow as the team grew from about 30 people to more than 80. In the company’s account, Jira-linked timers and manual time entry, reports, and time-off requests made it easier to see where work hours went and who was available. This is a vendor-published customer story, not independent evidence that Clockify caused the company’s growth or increased productivity.
What changed as 4ofthem grew
Before using Clockify, 4ofthem tracked work hours, descriptions, Jira tickets, and vacation days in Google Sheets. Petar Gabud, CEO and co-founder, said the spreadsheets were frequently disrupted by errors: “There was never a week when someone didn’t mess up the table.” Keeping vacation days in a separate sheet also left work tracking and team availability in different places.
Marko Gabud, CEO and co-founder, said the company had about 30 people when it started using Clockify and had since grown to more than 80. He described Clockify as a way to monitor changes as the company expanded. The story does not establish that Clockify produced that growth.
How Jira time entry fit the developers’ workflow
According to project manager Pero Martinović, developers could start a Clockify timer from a Jira ticket or manually enter how much time they spent on it. This gave the team two ways to connect time records with ticket work: run a timer while working, or enter the duration afterward. Clockify’s integrations page lists Jira as an integration.

Robert Šinko, CEO and co-founder, called the Jira integration straightforward and said it made life easier for developers. Those are the company’s reported impressions; the customer story does not compare Clockify with other Jira time-tracking tools.
What the team used reports to review
The customer story says the team used reports to examine time allocation, compare tracked time with estimates, distinguish billable from non-billable work, and prepare client reporting. These views gave managers information for project and client conversations without relying only on manually maintained spreadsheets. The story does not provide measured time savings or an independently verified productivity outcome.

How time-off visibility supported delegation

That combination addressed a practical coordination problem: keeping project time and employee availability visible as the company grew. It is one company’s experience, published by Clockify; it is not a controlled comparison, a quantified case study, or proof that the same setup will work equally well for every development team.
