HostMonster account servicing is handled through Bluehost’s portal, but Bluehost’s public hosting prices are not proof of what your legacy HostMonster account costs. Existing customers can sign in with their current credentials. Bluehost says the account transition itself does not change renewal dates or billing cycles, and does not move hosting servers or website content. For your actual renewal amount and included features, check your account’s Renewal Center and plan details.
Is HostMonster now Bluehost?
HostMonster customers are directed to Bluehost’s account portal. Bluehost’s transition FAQ says existing customers should log in with their current credentials. It also says the transition will not change renewal dates or billing cycles, and that hosting servers and website content will not move as part of the transition.
That account transition is not the same as choosing a different hosting plan or moving to another provider. The FAQ’s statements describe the transition process; they do not guarantee a particular future price or apply to a voluntary migration.
HostMonster plans and prices: what is publicly available?
There is no verified universal 2026 price list for legacy HostMonster accounts in the public information cited here. Bluehost’s current US shared-hosting prices describe Bluehost offers, not necessarily the plan, rate, features, or add-ons attached to an existing HostMonster account.
#1 Best Overall
| Bluehost shared-hosting offer | Introductory price | Renewal price | Term and qualification |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $3.99 per month | $9.99 per month | 36-month term; Bluehost US pricing page, accessed 2026; taxes excluded |
| Business | $6.99 per month | $13.99 per month | 36-month term; Bluehost US pricing page, accessed 2026; taxes excluded |
These figures are for the specified Bluehost plans and term, not a quote for an existing HostMonster customer. Bluehost also lists other shared-hosting and ecommerce tiers, with different prices and features. Rates can change, so confirm current offers on the Bluehost pricing page before comparing them with your account.
Bluehost cautions that descriptions such as “unmetered” do not mean unlimited use; usage remains subject to its terms and acceptable use policy. Check the plan details for the actual resource conditions rather than treating a marketing label as an unlimited guarantee.
How to find your HostMonster renewal price
- Sign in to the Bluehost portal with the credentials you used for your HostMonster account, as directed by the transition FAQ.
- Open the account’s Renewal Center and review the upcoming renewal amount, billing interval, and renewal date.
- Open your plan or product details and record the plan name, included features, and any paid add-ons associated with the account.
- Compare the full amount due over the same billing period, including applicable taxes and optional services. Do not compare a new-customer introductory rate with a legacy renewal charge as though they were equivalent.
Bluehost’s renewal price list shows separate monthly, 12-month, and 36-month renewal rates for current Bluehost plans and directs customers to the portal for the most up-to-date amount. It does not establish the rate on every legacy HostMonster account; use your own Renewal Center for that.

- Total cost by term: Compare the amount due now, the introductory period if applicable, the recurring renewal rate, billing interval, taxes, and optional services.
- Your actual inclusions: Check storage, site count, email, SSL, backups, privacy, security, and add-ons in your account or the new plan’s checkout. Current plan tiers do not establish what a legacy account includes.
- The kind of change: Managing the existing account is different from voluntarily changing plans or migrating to another provider. Confirm what action you are taking before cancelling or changing services.
- Support and plan limits: Verify current support channels and limits on the provider’s account or plan pages. The available sources do not establish a comprehensive current HostMonster-specific support comparison.
Will my HostMonster website move to Bluehost?
Not as part of the account transition described by Bluehost. Its FAQ says the hosting servers and website content will not move during that transition. If you are simply accessing and managing the same account through Bluehost’s portal, that is distinct from a voluntary hosting migration.

A move to a different plan or provider is a separate technical project. Bluehost’s migration guide recommends setting up the new hosting account before cancelling the old one, backing up website files and databases, and planning for email and DNS changes. Keeping both accounts active while DNS changes propagate can help reduce disruption.

TechRadar’s review, published January 20, 2021, described HostMonster as part of Bluehost and said it was no longer accepting new customers. That is historical context, not a current 2026 signup or price confirmation. Its old plan names and prices should not be combined with today’s Bluehost offers as if they were one current rate card.
