To connect WhatsApp to Hostinger Reach, you need a paid Reach 1000 plan, a dedicated phone number that is not active in any WhatsApp app or with another WhatsApp provider, and a Facebook profile with administrator access to the Meta Business Portfolio and WhatsApp Business Account you plan to use. You complete Meta’s signup window from inside Reach, and the connection counts as finished only when Reach confirms it. Meta may also ask you to verify the business itself.
Check the requirements before you start
Gather these items first. Most failed connections trace back to one of them.
- Plan: The account must be on a paid Reach 1000 plan. Lower plans show an upgrade prompt when you open the WhatsApp page in Reach.
- Phone number: The number must be controlled by your business, able to receive the verification method Meta offers, and not active in the WhatsApp consumer app or the WhatsApp Business app. It also must be disconnected from any other WhatsApp provider.
- Facebook profile: Use a profile that has administrator access to the Meta Business Portfolio and the WhatsApp Business Account you intend to connect.
- Business details: Have the business display name, company website, and business details ready, and make sure they match what Meta has on file.
- Business verification: Meta may ask for business verification. Start this early, because Meta controls the review timeline.
Choose a dedicated number
Hostinger’s Help Center lists three kinds of number that businesses commonly use. They behave differently during verification, so choose based on the verification path, not only on cost.

A prepaid SIM card can serve as a mobile option, but a SIM does not guarantee that you will keep the number long term or that it will pass Meta verification. Confirm carrier and regional compatibility before purchase.

Whichever option you choose, check it against four tests:
- The business owns the number or has exclusive control over it.
- The number can receive the verification method Meta offers for it.
- The number is fully detached from any other WhatsApp account or provider.
- Someone in the business can keep the number active and accessible, which you will need for account recovery.
Connect WhatsApp in Hostinger Reach
The steps below follow Hostinger’s setup guide. Meta’s signup window is a separate screen, so keep the browser tab open until Reach reports the result.

- In Hostinger Reach, open the WhatsApp page and start the connection flow. Review the listed requirements and continue.
- In the Meta window, sign in with the Facebook profile that manages the business.
- Select an existing Meta Business Portfolio and WhatsApp Business Account, or create them during signup.
- Add the dedicated phone number, then complete the verification step Meta offers for that number.
- Complete every remaining Meta prompt. Then return to Reach and wait for its confirmation.
- After Reach confirms the connection, claim the 300 Hostinger Credits offered in Reach. Hostinger states that these welcome credits expire after 30 days under its standard Unified Credits terms.
Current limits in the initial release
Hostinger’s documentation describes the following limits for the initial WhatsApp release in Reach. Plan your customer support around them.
- One Reach account can connect one WhatsApp Business Account and one dedicated phone number.
- Reach has no shared WhatsApp inbox and no automatic replies, so it cannot handle regular customer replies. Keep a separate support channel or a monitored support number for conversations.
- Campaigns are one-off sends. Scheduled sending is not available.

| Verification is pending | Meta controls the review. Complete any actions Meta requests in Meta Business Suite, then wait. Reach cannot approve verification, bypass it, or remove Meta policy restrictions. |
| Meta setup finished, but Reach does not show a connection | Return to Reach, refresh the page, and retry. If the problem persists, contact Hostinger support with the time of your attempt, the status you can see, and a screenshot. Remove credentials and verification codes from the screenshot before sending it. |
After the connection: templates, consent, and sending
Submit a marketing template
Create a template in Reach, review its preview and validation, and submit it for Meta approval. The template body can be up to 1,024 characters in the Reach editor. Use a template only when its status shows approved for the connected account. Meta makes the approval decision and can change a template’s status later, so check it again before each campaign.
Confirm recipient consent
Reach tracks WhatsApp consent separately from other subscription types. By default it skips contacts without stored opt-in. You can include contacts whose consent was obtained elsewhere, but only after you confirm that consent. Your business remains responsible for collecting and recording consent that is legally sufficient for its situation.

Hostinger’s official consent guide states that United States phone numbers are excluded, because Meta does not allow marketing messages to those numbers. Platform rules can change, so confirm destination eligibility when you prepare each send.

To send, select an approved template, choose recipients, review the estimated cost, and select Send now. Reach estimates credits from the eligible audience and the mix of destination countries, and reserves that estimate when you send. Reach says it charges only for recipients that Meta reports as delivered or read.
Hostinger’s documentation is the reference for these terms. Because setup steps, number rules, and credit terms can change, check the current Hostinger Help Center and Meta instructions before you begin.
