To accept appointments in Hostinger AI Builder, open Store management, enable Appointments, set your availability, create an appointment product under Products → Add product, and then show the product page in a product section of your site. Hostinger’s current support guide says this requires a Hostinger Ecommerce plan that includes the appointments product type. The steps below follow that guide as of October 2026, and they note where older guidance no longer applies.
Check that your plan includes appointments
Hostinger’s support guide states the requirement directly: “Accepting appointments requires a Hostinger Ecommerce plan that includes the appointments product type.” Hostinger’s booking marketing page refers to a Business Website Builder plan instead, and plan names can differ by market or change over time. Before you describe your plan in client documentation, look at the plan label in your own hosting account. If the Appointments option does not appear under Store management, the plan is the first thing to check.
Set up appointment booking step by step
- In the AI Builder, open Store management and choose Appointments. Turn the feature on.
- Under Your availability, set the default weekly schedule that most services will use. Block out any exceptions to your normal working hours here.
- Go to Products → Add product and select the appointment type. Enter a descriptive title. Hostinger uses this title automatically as the product page meta title, so write it as you would want it to appear in search results.
- Choose the price model. Select Free if customers should reserve a time without paying, or Amount for a paid appointment. A paid price cannot be zero or left discretionary.
- In Duration & Location, set the appointment length and the location. The minimum duration is 15 minutes. If this service needs its own schedule, enable custom availability here (see the next section).
- In Buffers and Notice times, set preparation time before and after each booking, the minimum advance notice, and how far ahead customers can book. If you use flexible time slots, set a slot interval of at least 15 minutes.
- Save the product. Hostinger creates its product page automatically.
- Add the product page to a product section so that visitors can find it on the website.
- Optional: connect Google Calendar and review the cancellation and rescheduling settings. Both are covered in their own sections below.
Availability: global schedule or per-appointment schedule
By default, every appointment uses the global schedule you set in step 2. Hostinger’s changelog dates the per-appointment option to April 7, 2026. With it, a single service can override the global schedule with one of two custom formats:

An older Hostinger article stated that availability and time slots apply to all products. That article predates the per-appointment option. Follow the current guide if the two disagree.

Working hours are based on the timezone of the device you use to set them, and customers see available times in their own timezone. For example, if you set hours from a device set to Eastern Time, a customer in Berlin sees those hours converted to Berlin time. Confirm your device timezone before you enter hours, because a mismatch shifts every slot.
Slot, duration and price limits
Slots normally follow the appointment length, so a 60-minute service produces 60-minute slots. Flexible time slots let you offer start times at a separate interval, which can be shorter or longer than the appointment itself. Each slot is dedicated to one customer and slots do not overlap.

Payments, cancellations and rescheduling
Free and paid appointments
Free appointments reserve a time without taking payment. Paid appointments take payment at booking, so the price settings in step 4 apply to those bookings.

Only unpaid, unfulfilled appointments can be cancelled directly. If a customer has paid, you must issue the refund yourself first, because refunds are not processed automatically. The cancellation dialog can display your store’s refund policy, which you should write before taking bookings. You cancel from Store Manager and enter a reason.

Rescheduling a booking
You reschedule from Store Manager by selecting a replacement time. The customer receives the updated booking details through the same channel as the original booking.
Self-service links for customers
In the settings, you can turn on cancellation and rescheduling links that appear in confirmation emails. If these toggles stay off, customers must contact you to change a booking.

Connect Google Calendar
- Open Store management → Appointments → Settings → Google Calendar.
- Connect a Google account and grant access to view and add calendar events.
- Check a test booking. New bookings appear in Google Calendar with their details. Cancellations and reschedules update the calendar entry.
The sync runs one way for edits. If you change an event directly in Google Calendar, the Hostinger appointment record does not change. Make the change in Hostinger’s appointment management so both systems stay aligned.
Limits and common problems
- Appointments option missing: the plan may not include the appointments product type. Check the plan label in your account against the requirement quoted above.
- Customer sees the wrong hours: the schedule was set from a device with a different timezone. Re-enter the hours after checking the device timezone.
- Calendar entry differs from the booking: an edit was made only in Google Calendar. Correct the booking in Hostinger.
- Paid booking cannot be cancelled: issue the refund first, then cancel. The system does not refund automatically.
- Complex staff or resource assignment: the support material does not describe assigning multiple staff members or equipment to one booking. Do not plan a workflow around that capability without confirming it with Hostinger.
Hostinger can change feature availability, plan labels, settings names and integrations. If a menu label in your builder differs from the names above, use the current support guide as the reference.
