How the KPL finals format works
Challenge Stage groups
The 12 qualified teams are divided into Masters and Elite groups. Teams play cross-group single round robins in best-of-five series, while each group keeps its own standings.
- The top four Masters teams advance directly to Knockouts.
- The Elite group winner also advances directly to Knockouts.
- Masters teams in fifth and sixth place enter Breakout.
- Elite teams in second through fifth place enter Breakout.
- The lowest-ranked Elite team is eliminated.
Breakout Stage
Breakout is a six-team single-elimination stage from October 20 to 22. Three winners earn places in the eight-team Knockout field.

Mainland-China viewing leads
- Douyu: The official Honor of Kings event page identifies a 2026 KPL Annual Finals live event.
- Huya: Huya lists a KPL event page that may carry tournament broadcasts.
These listings establish useful China-focused destinations, but they do not confirm English commentary, licensing in every country or uninterrupted access outside mainland China.

Watching from outside mainland China
An authorized global English stream was not confirmed. International viewers should check the official Honor of Kings esports channels and the tournament’s event announcements for territory-specific links shortly before each stage. Do not assume that a Douyu or Huya listing is available or authorized in your country.

Start with qualification context, not a fixed power ranking
Qualification used annual points from Spring, the Challenger Cup and Summer. The six highest point earners were placed in Masters, with the next six in Elite. That seeding affects each team’s route through the event, but it is not a guarantee of current form.

Use results after several rounds
Update your view after enough series have been played to compare group position, series wins and losses, opponent quality and likely bracket path. A single 3–0 can indicate a strong start without proving championship-level strength.
Defending champion to watch
Chengdu AG Super Play enters as the defending champion and is a natural team to monitor. However, AG’s 3–1 opening-day loss to Nantong Hero means the early evidence argues for caution rather than a confident repeat-title prediction.

What is not yet supportable
The available opening results do not provide comparable current-form statistics for every team, so a defensible championship probability or definitive winner pick would be misleading. Treat any early favorite as provisional and revise it as group standings and best-of-seven results accumulate.
