The HONOR 600S 5G is best for buyers who want a large 120Hz screen, a high-capacity battery and a sturdy-feeling phone at a lower price than the HONOR 600 or 600 Pro. Its compromises are equally clear: the 6.87-inch display is HD+ TFT LCD rather than AMOLED, and its camera setup is basic. That makes the 600S a practical endurance-focused option, not the right pick if screen detail or camera flexibility comes first.
HONOR 600S 5G specifications at a glance
| Feature | HONOR 600S 5G |
|---|---|

| Processor | Snapdragon 4 Gen4, per HONOR Malaysia. |
| Memory and storage | 8GB RAM; 128GB or 256GB storage, per HONOR Malaysia. |
| Rear cameras | 50MP main camera plus an auxiliary lens; the auxiliary lens is not identified here as an ultrawide or telephoto camera. |
| Front camera | 5MP, per HONOR Malaysia. |
| Battery | 8,100mAh typical capacity and 7,900mAh rated capacity, per HONOR Philippines. |
| Charging | Up to 45W wired charging, per HONOR Philippines. |
| Durability | HONOR claims IP68/IP69/IP69K resistance and lab-tested drop resistance up to 2.5m, with limitations described below. |
| Other listed features | NFC and stereo speakers, per HONOR Malaysia; HONOR Philippines also lists an AI Button and AI Image to Video 2.0. |
| Weight | 216.5g, per HONOR Malaysia. |
Specifications and box contents can vary by market. The Malaysian listing says the box includes a 45W HONOR charger, USB-C cable, protective films and a TPU case; that does not establish what comes with Philippine or other regional units. See HONOR Malaysia’s specifications and HONOR Philippines’ product page.
Display: large and smooth, but not especially sharp
The 6.87-inch screen and 120Hz refresh rate make the 600S spacious for videos, reading and scrolling. YugaTech’s October 1, 2026 review found animations smooth and the panel adequate for video, but the resolution is 1592 × 720, or HD+, and the technology is TFT LCD—not AMOLED. Text and fine details will not look as crisp as on a sharper panel, while contrast and color presentation lack the appeal many buyers expect from AMOLED.

This is the phone’s defining screen trade-off: the size and refresh rate are attractive, but they do not make it a premium display. If you mainly want a big screen for everyday use, it should serve; if you prioritize deep blacks, vivid contrast or fine detail, the 600S is a weaker fit. HONOR Philippines and Malaysia both list a 6.87-inch display; YugaTech’s launch news story gives 6.78 inches, an apparent inconsistency, so the official figure is used here.

Battery life and charging
HONOR gives the battery as 8,100mAh typical and 7,900mAh rated, with wired charging up to 45W. Those figures make capacity a major selling point, although they do not by themselves establish how long the phone lasts in everyday use.
In YugaTech’s video-loop test, the phone ran for 33 hours and 20 minutes. The review used 50% brightness, volume at zero and airplane mode, so treat that result as a specific controlled test—not a mixed-use prediction. The review reports support for 45W HONOR SuperCharge, but no wireless or reverse charging.

- Network Compatibility: For USA Buyers - Only works with T-Mobile in the US, as it is not optimized for Verizon and AT&T. This means that as long as there's T-Mobile coverage, it'll work. For International Buyers - Works outside of the USA with any network provider without any restrictions
- Inner Display Specifications: 7.95 inch foldable OLED screen with 2352 x 2172 Pixels resolution and 1.07 billion colors for immersive viewing experience
- External Display Specifications: 6.52 inch OLED screen with 2420 x 1080 Pixels resolution and 1.07 billion colors for convenient access when folded
- Storage and Memory Capacity: 512GB internal storage with 16GB RAM for extensive app usage and multitasking performance
- Processor and Graphics: Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite (Gen 5) Mobile Platform with Adreno 840 GPU for high-performance computing and gaming
Cameras: usable main camera, limited versatility
The rear system centers on a 50MP main camera and an auxiliary lens, with a 5MP front camera. YugaTech found the main camera adequate in well-lit conditions but did not consider the cameras a strength overall. The available information does not establish an ultrawide or telephoto camera, so buyers should not expect the framing options those dedicated cameras provide. The 5MP selfie camera is also a modest specification for buyers who take frequent self-portraits or video calls.

Durability claims and what they mean
HONOR Philippines lists IP68, IP69 and IP69K resistance and says the phone passed a 2.5m drop-resistance lab test onto smooth granite. These are manufacturer claims tied to specified conditions, not a guarantee against damage in ordinary accidents. HONOR cautions that the phone is not professionally waterproof, resistance is not permanent and protection can decline with wear. YugaTech also reported that its review unit survived a drop; that single observation does not predict how another unit will fare.

Price and where the 600S sits in the HONOR 600 family
YugaTech reported Philippine launch pricing of PHP 18,999 for the 128GB version, described as online-exclusive, and PHP 19,999 for 256GB. Its October 1, 2026 launch report also described preorder bundles: an HONOR Choice Watch 2i with the 128GB model and an HONOR Bluetooth Speaker II with the 256GB model. These are launch-period Philippine details, not confirmed current prices or offers; check local stock, seller authorization, warranty and promotions before buying. No non-Philippine current price was verified.
For regional context, YugaTech’s review listed reference prices of PHP 28,999 for the HONOR 600 and PHP 49,999 for the HONOR 600 Pro. Those are the review’s Philippine references, not guaranteed current prices. The 600S is positioned below them in price, but it also makes more obvious compromises: an HD+ TFT LCD screen and a basic camera arrangement. Its large battery capacity is the standout endurance specification, while the available information does not provide a controlled battery comparison against the other models. The available sources likewise do not establish directly comparable storage or performance test results across the family. Do not assume that the 600 or 600 Pro’s higher-tier camera or display features apply to the 600S.

Who should buy the HONOR 600S?
- Consider it if you want a large, smooth screen, substantial stated battery capacity and a lower-priced HONOR 600-family model, and you can live with HD+ LCD sharpness and modest cameras.
- Look elsewhere if AMOLED contrast, a sharper display, more camera versatility, wireless charging or reverse charging are priorities.
- Verify before ordering if you are outside the Philippines: price, promotions, availability, warranty coverage and what is included in the box depend on market and seller.
