Homeward announced $120 million in Series D equity financing and $330 million in asset-backed debt facilities on October 1, 2026. Saluda Grade led the equity round. Homeward says it will use the financing to expand its home-buying and selling services, improve its integrated platform and support broader growth.

How much did Homeward raise, and who led the round?

The financing has two distinct parts: $120 million in Series D equity and $330 million in asset-backed debt facilities. The combined headline is $450 million across equity and debt, not a $450 million equity round. Homeward’s October 1 announcement names Saluda Grade as the equity lead.

Other listed equity participants are Continental General Insurance Company, Citi Ventures, Magnetar, Harmony Partners, Norwest, Adams Street Partners, LiveOak Ventures, Parker89, Era Ventures and Javelin Venture Partners, along with others. The announcement does not identify the debt-facility providers or disclose facility terms, company valuation, equity dilution or an allocation of proceeds between specific uses.

What Homeward says it will do with the financing

Homeward says it plans to expand its cash-offer and bridge-financing services, improve the technology behind its integrated home-buying and selling platform, and accelerate growth across the 48 contiguous states. The company also says the debt facilities will fund more home transactions. These are announced plans, not confirmation that geographic or product expansion has already happened. The press release characterizes anticipated expansion and business performance as forward-looking statements; actual results may differ.

How Homeward’s three services differ

Homeward describes three approaches for homeowners and buyers facing different transaction needs. The table summarizes the company’s descriptions; it does not compare costs, fees, timelines or eligibility because the announcement does not provide those details.

Service Situation addressed Described transaction path
Buy Before You Sell A homeowner wants to buy a next home before selling the current one. Short-term bridge financing paired with a guaranteed backup offer.
Cash Offer A homeowner wants the speed and certainty of a cash sale. Homeward says the homeowner may participate in upside when the property is later resold.
Buy with Cash A buyer wants to make a cash-backed offer. The buyer can refinance into a traditional mortgage after closing.

These are descriptions from Homeward’s release, not a guarantee that every customer will qualify or achieve a particular result. Financing is subject to eligibility requirements, underwriting criteria and terms and conditions. The release does not establish which service is least expensive or fastest for a given customer.

What the integrated platform includes

Homeward says its platform connects its home-buying and selling experience with Homeward Mortgage and Homeward Title. The company’s stated goal is to make those services part of a connected transaction experience; the release does not provide comparative data on customer outcomes or transaction speed.

What the announcement says about Homeward’s scale

Homeward reports that it has partnered with more than 25,000 agents and facilitated over $4 billion in residential real estate transactions since its founding. These are company-reported figures; the announcement’s reviewed materials do not independently audit them. The press release also quotes CEO Tim Heyl: “Guidance and expertise from trusted real estate agents will always be at the center of every successful home transaction.”
