In a January 27, 2024 deal report, HotHardware listed Hisense’s 100-inch U76-series QLED 4K TV at $1,999.99 through Best Buy. The same report put a 75-inch Hisense U7 Mini-LED TV at $898 on Amazon or $899.99 at Best Buy. Those are historical offers, not evidence of current prices or stock.
What the January 2024 Hisense deals included
HotHardware reported two promotions ahead of the 2024 Super Bowl: a 100-inch U76-series television for $1,999.99 at Best Buy and a smaller 75-inch U7 Mini-LED model for $898 on Amazon or $899.99 at Best Buy. The article does not give the 75-inch set’s exact model suffix. HotHardware’s January 27, 2024 report is the source for those retailer prices.
| TV in the 2024 report | Backlight or display description | Reported offer |
|---|---|---|
| 100-inch Hisense U76 series, identified by Hisense as U76N | QLED 4K with full-array local dimming; not Mini-LED | $1,999.99 at Best Buy, per HotHardware’s January 2024 report |
| 75-inch Hisense U7; exact suffix not stated in HotHardware’s January 2024 report | Mini-LED | $898 at Amazon or $899.99 at Best Buy, per HotHardware’s January 2024 report |
Which 100-inch model was it?
Hisense USA identified the 100-inch set as the U76N in a January 24, 2024 announcement. The company announced a $2,999 launch price and described that as 40% below its stated $4,999 MSRP. That launch pricing is a separate dated claim from HotHardware’s later report of a $1,999.99 Best Buy promotion; they should not be treated as the same offer. See Hisense USA’s announcement.

Those figures and format claims are attributable to the deal article rather than independent testing of the exact SKU. Hisense’s announcement also identifies the U76N as 4K UHD with quantum-dot color and 144Hz, and lists Filmmaker Mode, IMAX Enhanced, Wi-Fi 6E, Google TV, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos as features. Manufacturer feature descriptions are not independent performance measurements.
#1 Best Overall
- QLED Color: See the exact hue of every blade of grass on the field and every line on the court. QLED Color is made up of quantum dots—very small particles with the ability to display over a billion shades of color. This feature renders every frame with rich, vibrant and realistic color, ensuring that even the most minute details stand out.
- Total HDR Solution: See every basket and goal in all its glory. Total HDR Solution distinguishes between the colors you perceive on screen. That means ink-black blacks, not muddled tones and brighter, more vibrant colors with every HDR format, including Dolby Vision, HDR 10+Adaptive, HDR 10 and HLG.
- Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos: The fusion of Dolby VisionTM HDR imaging and Dolby Atmos sound transforms your TV into an entertainment powerhouse. These image and sound technologies from the cinema, now brought together for the home, provide amazing realism that you’ll see, hear, and feel like never before.
- Fire TV: Fire TV seamlessly integrates your favorite live channels and apps on the home screen, or you can browse the Channel Guide in Live.
- Press & Ask | Alexa: Just press and ask Alexa to find, launch, and control your content. Go beyond streaming to check sports scores, set timers, reminders, and more.
How the 100-inch and 75-inch options differed
The clearest practical difference was not only screen size: the 100-inch U76N was described as a QLED set with full-array local dimming, while the 75-inch U7 used Mini-LED backlighting. The 2024 prices show what those particular offers cost at the time, not a dependable current comparison. The available report does not establish the 75-inch U7’s exact model generation, so readers should check the SKU before comparing it with newer U7 televisions.

The cited prices date to January 2024, and the sources do not establish current U76N stock, seller availability or present-day pricing. Hisense’s current product and deals pages show newer 100-inch and 75-inch product families, but that does not mean the old promotions or U76N remain available. Hisense’s current 100-inch U7 product page, for example, names model 100U75QG; it is not the 2024 U76N. Check the exact model number and retailer listing before relying on a price. Hisense’s 100U75QG page and Hisense USA’s deals page provide current product-family context, not confirmation of the historical offers.

A later market reference is also not a live quote: a September 2026 Tom’s Guide roundup listed a 75-inch Hisense U7 at $1,199 from Best Buy. It concerns a later deal listing and should not be confused with the 2024 75-inch offer or treated as a current checkout price. That roundup also says U7 QD7 sets measuring 75 inches and above have 144Hz refresh rates, while 65-inch and smaller sizes have 60Hz; this is model-family and size-specific context, not a specification for every Hisense television. Tom’s Guide’s September 2026 deal roundup contains that later listing.
