Hisense’s Vidda Big Eye M2 Pro is a China-launched 4K triple-color laser projector reported to offer 1,800 CVIA lumens, a built-in gimbal and a gaming mode that reaches 240Hz at 1080p. Its standard 4K mode is reported to top out at 60Hz, so it is not a 4K/240Hz projector. The specifications and launch pricing below come from secondary reporting rather than an accessible model-specific Hisense announcement or technical sheet.
What the Vidda Big Eye M2 Pro is
The Big Eye M2 Pro is identified as a Hisense Vidda projector launched in China. Gizmochina’s October 5, 2026 report describes it as a 4K triple-color laser model; JD.com listings support the model name and include an “1800-CVIA” flagship variant. Those listings do not independently confirm the full specification set. Gizmochina’s launch report and JD.com’s listings are the available model-specific references.
Reported picture specifications
The launch report attributes the following imaging specifications to the projector. They are product claims in that report, not independent laboratory measurements.

Brightness and contrast figures do not by themselves establish how the projector will look in a particular room. Ambient light, screen material, image size and picture settings all affect the viewing result; the cited launch report does not provide independent measurements or standardized viewing-condition results.

Gaming: 240Hz requires dropping to 1080p
The reported modes distinguish resolution from refresh rate: standard 4K video is capped at 60Hz, while 1080p can reach 240Hz. That makes the high-refresh option a lower-resolution gaming mode, not 4K at 240Hz. The launch report also lists HDMI 2.1, variable refresh rate (VRR) and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), but does not specify the supported input bandwidth, which HDMI port supports each feature, or the conditions for enabling 240Hz. Check the exact model’s documentation and the connected device’s output settings before relying on a particular combination.
Placement and automatic setup
A reported 360-degree integrated gimbal is intended to make it easier to aim the image without relying on a fixed stand or mount. The same report lists 1.3x optical zoom, automatic focus, keystone correction, screen alignment and obstacle avoidance. It does not establish whether “360-degree” describes movement across every axis, so treat it as the report’s description rather than a complete mechanical specification.

These distances have not been confirmed against an exact-model technical sheet; verify them with the seller or manufacturer before choosing a placement. The related Hisense catalogue PDF describes an M2 Pro with a 360-degree vertical angle adjuster, HSR240 mode and a 1.0–1.3 throw-ratio optical zoom. It does not establish that every catalogue detail applies to the Big Eye M2 Pro launch model.

Gizmochina’s report also lists a MediaTek MT9679 processor, 3GB of RAM and Vidda JUOS software. For sound, it describes a 20W four-driver speaker system with Dolby Audio and DTS:X. These are reported specifications, not independently verified performance results; the report does not provide measured speaker loudness or a detailed software feature list.

China launch price and availability

The reported feature mix may interest buyers in China looking for a 4K laser projector with flexible placement and a high-refresh gaming option. The key trade-off is explicit: the reported 240Hz mode is 1080p, while 4K is reported at up to 60Hz. Buyers should also confirm the throw distance and exact gimbal movement for their room, and treat brightness, contrast and other specifications as launch-report claims until model-specific documentation or independent testing is available.
