The Hisense HRTF325 is a 326 L, frost-free top-mount fridge-freezer with an inverter compressor and a 4.5-star energy rating in Hisense Australia’s 2024 specification. It may suit a household seeking a straightforward fridge-freezer, but check the exact finish and dimensions before ordering: the white HRTF325 and silver HRTF325S have a 40 mm difference in listed depth. Public review evidence is limited, so the specifications support a feature-and-fit assessment, not a firm verdict on long-term reliability or real-world cooling performance.

What the HRTF325 offers

Hisense Australia’s 2024 specification describes the white HRTF325 as a 326 L top-mount refrigerator/freezer: 253 L for fresh food and 73 L for frozen food. Its layout comprises two adjustable fridge shelves, one fixed shelf, four door baskets, one LED light and two full-width freezer drawers. The shelves are safe glass, and the doors are reversible. Hisense’s specification sheet lists an electronic temperature control but no electronic display, Wi-Fi, water dispenser or open-door alarm.

Hisense also lists an inverter compressor, automatic frost-free defrost, Multi Air Flow, Fresh Zone and Total No Frost. The manufacturer describes Fresh Zone as a colder upper-fridge section intended for meat and fish, and says Total No Frost removes the need for manual defrosting. These are manufacturer feature descriptions, not independently verified performance claims.

Dimensions and installation: confirm the suffix

The model’s listed depth differs by finish. Hisense’s white HRTF325 specification gives net dimensions of 595 × 1696 × 650 mm (W × H × D). The Australian product page for the silver HRTF325S lists 595 × 1696 × 690 mm. Both listings give a width of 595 mm and height of 1696 mm, but their sources do not explain the 40 mm depth discrepancy. Do not assume one measurement applies to both variants.

WPF-34E compatible replacement thermostat for Hisense refrigerators
  • Wide Compatibility: Compatible with Hisense and other brand refrigerators. Please verify your machine model and part number (e.g., 1806104/WPF-34E) before purchasing. This thermostat is a direct replacement
  • Sensor Probe Installation: If the temperature sensing line is too long, you may coil it up. Do not cut it, as cutting will permanently damage the thermostat. Please keep the original length
  • Flexible Pin Configuration: Thermostat compatibility depends mainly on the number of pins and the probe length, not just the brand or model. If your original part is 2-pin, our 3-pin version can also work. A length difference of approximately 3cm is acceptable
  • Pre-Purchase Recommendation: Please note: 90% of refrigerators that do not shut off do NOT have a faulty thermostat. We recommend having a local after-sales service check the issue before replacing any parts to avoid unnecessary waste
  • Problem Resolution: Effectively solves common thermostat-related issues: no cooling, overcooling, compressor running continuously or not running at all, unstable temperature, and frequent cycling. Easy to install. Please check the pin and probe specifications before purchasing
Model and source Listed dimensions (W × H × D) Other listed details
White HRTF325, Hisense Australia specification 595 × 1696 × 650 mm (net) 50.5 kg; 50 mm side clearance, 50 mm rear clearance and 100 mm top clearance
Silver HRTF325S, Hisense Australia product page 595 × 1696 × 690 mm 50.5 kg; the page does not state the same clearance figures in the information cited here

Before buying, check the current installation sheet for the exact model suffix and account for clearances as well as the appliance’s listed dimensions. Measure the intended space, door swing and the whole route from delivery access to the final position; a fridge that fits its alcove may still be difficult to get through a doorway or hallway. Hisense’s HRTF325S page is for the silver variant, not the white model.

Energy rating and noise figures

For the white HRTF325, Hisense’s 2024 specification lists a 4.5-star rating, CEC energy consumption of 256 kWh/y and PAEC energy consumption of 240 kWh/y. These are separately labelled specification values; they should not be collapsed into one unqualified annual-use figure or treated as a promise of a particular household’s consumption. Actual electricity use and cost depend on conditions such as ambient temperature, settings and usage. The same sheet lists noise at 38 dB(A); that is a specification, not a measurement made for this article.

To estimate running cost, use the energy figure and metric required for your local comparison, then apply your electricity tariff. The result is an estimate, not a guarantee of the fridge’s actual consumption in your home.

What the reviews do—and do not—show

Retailer customer feedback

The Good Guys’ white HRTF325 listing showed 4.5/5 from 63 reviews, with 92% recommending it in a retailer snapshot accessed in 2026. Its AI-generated summary mentions generous storage and quiet operation, alongside reports of delivery dents or finish issues and customers wanting features such as a freezer light or door alarm. These are customer comments collected and summarized by a retailer, not controlled performance tests; the summary may contain errors, and review populations can include incentivized feedback. The Good Guys’ white-model listing should not be conflated with the silver model’s feedback.

The separate silver HRTF325S page showed 4.5/5 from 51 reviews and 84% recommending in its 2026 snapshot. Its AI summary likewise mentions quiet operation and storage as well as delivery damage and follow-up complaints. This is customer feedback on the silver variant, not an independent comparison or a substitute for the white model’s review record. The Good Guys’ silver-model listing reports that separate snapshot.

Independent review availability

Consumer NZ’s model page, updated in September 2026, labels the HRTF325 discontinued in its market. Its overall score and recommendation are gated, and the accessible listing does not show test results or pros and cons. It therefore does not support a claim that the model performed either well or poorly in testing. The New Zealand listing shows NZ$879, but that is not directly comparable with Australian retailer listings from other dates. Consumer NZ’s HRTF325 page is evidence of its New Zealand listing status, not proof of global discontinuation.

Availability and price depend on market and date

At the time the Australian Hisense silver-model page was checked, it displayed A$799 including GST and in-stock status, with shipping options dependent on postcode. This is a page snapshot, not a stable price. The Good Guys’ white-model listing showed a A$598 promotion that ended on 13 September 2026, so it is historical rather than a current deal. Consumer NZ’s NZ$879 listing is for New Zealand. These figures come from different markets, retailers and dates; they are not a like-for-like price comparison. Check current stock, exact finish, delivery terms and warranty with the seller before purchasing.

Safety and first setup

The HRTF325, HRTF325B and HRTF325S operation manual identifies R600a refrigerant, which is flammable. Hisense instructs owners to keep ventilation openings clear and avoid damaging the refrigerant circuit. The manual also says to allow at least four hours after unpacking before connecting the appliance, so compressor oil can flow back. Follow the manual supplied with the exact model and current local guidance. Hisense states: “It is hazardous for anyone other than an Authorized Service Person to service this appliance.” Read the HRTF325/HRTF325B/HRTF325S operation manual.

Who should consider the HRTF325?

On paper, it is a compact-width, 326 L top-mount model with frost-free operation, an inverter compressor and a listed 4.5-star energy rating. The 253 L fresh-food compartment and 73 L freezer establish its capacity split; whether that layout works depends on how you use the fridge and freezer. Its lack of a door-open alarm, electronic display and water dispenser matters if those features are priorities.

Consider it if the capacity and simple top-mount layout suit your household, the exact variant fits with required clearances, and a current local price and warranty make sense. If your decision depends on independently tested performance or reliability, the publicly accessible evidence cited here is not enough to settle that question. Compare alternatives using verified dimensions and usable layout, local energy-label figures, features, warranty and current delivered price—not retailer star ratings alone.
