Hisense’s new Boom portable-speaker family includes three Bluetooth models: compact FlexBoom, outdoor-focused WeBoom and larger VoyageBoom. For Amazon’s October 6–7, 2026 Prime Big Deal Days, USA TODAY reported prices of $99.99, $179.99 and $249.99, respectively. Hisense’s US store showed different prices when checked October 7, so treat both sets as dated snapshots and verify the current listing before buying.
What is the Hisense Boom speaker family?
Hisense is extending its consumer-electronics range into portable Bluetooth audio with FlexBoom, WeBoom and VoyageBoom. The models share a focus on portable listening and outdoor use, but differ in size-oriented positioning and features. Published materials describe Auracast broadcast support across the family; FlexBoom also lists true wireless stereo (TWS) pairing.
Hisense Chief Commercial Officer David Gold said the speakers are intended to cover “everything from everyday listening and weekends outside to hosting a house of friends.” That is the company’s positioning, not an independent assessment of their sound.

Which model makes sense for your use?
Choose FlexBoom for easy carry
FlexBoom is the family’s compact option. The US product page lists 40 W RMS, Bluetooth 5.4, Auracast, TWS pairing, IP67 dust and water protection, and up to 20 hours of playback. Hisense calls the runtime approximate and based on laboratory testing; actual battery life varies with use, environment and settings.
Choose WeBoom for a bigger outdoor gathering
WeBoom’s dual subwoofers and Bass Boost are aimed at fuller, bass-forward listening, while its carry strap, lighting and claimed up-to-24-hour runtime suit outings and group use. The power-bank function is reported by What Hi-Fi? rather than specified in the cited manufacturer information. These are feature descriptions, not comparative listening-test findings.

Choose VoyageBoom for inputs and power-bank utility
VoyageBoom is the largest-positioned model in this lineup. Its manufacturer-described features include a built-in power bank, ConnectLife-controlled lighting, microphone and guitar inputs, IP67 protection and up to 24 hours of playback. The inputs make it the model to consider if connecting a microphone or guitar is important.

How to read the power and battery claims
Specifications published for different markets use different measures. Hisense France’s IFA 2026 announcement gives maximum-power claims of 80 W for FlexBoom, 140 W for WeBoom and 360 W for VoyageBoom. By contrast, Hisense’s US FlexBoom page lists 40 W RMS. Maximum power and RMS power are not interchangeable figures, and this material does not support a direct, apples-to-apples output ranking across the three models.
Likewise, “up to” battery runtimes are manufacturer claims rather than guaranteed listening times. The cited US FlexBoom page explicitly says its battery estimates are laboratory-based and vary in real use; no controlled battery comparison among all three models is established here.

What is not established about sound quality?
The published features suggest different intended uses, but the cited sources do not provide a controlled comparison of sound quality between FlexBoom, WeBoom and VoyageBoom. There is therefore no evidence-based sound-quality winner to name. Buyers choosing between them should weigh their required portability, inputs and utility features alongside the current retailer price, rather than treating the wattage claims as a sound-quality ranking.
