The 2026 U.S. 65-inch model is the Hisense 65U7SG. It is not verified to have 3,000 local-dimming zones: RTINGS reports 960 for this size. Hisense’s “Game Booster 330 VRR” name also does not mean 330Hz at 4K; RTINGS reports up to 165Hz at 4K and 330Hz at 1080p. Those distinctions matter when judging the TV’s picture claims and gaming fit.
Which 65-inch Hisense U7 is this?
“U7” covers multiple model years and regional versions, so the full model number matters. The title’s likely match is the Hisense 65U7SG, a 2026 U.S. 65-inch U7 Mini-LED ULED 4K Google TV. Hisense’s specification sheet names the gaming feature “Game Booster 330 VRR.”
Do not transfer specifications from a different U7 generation or country. For example, Hisense UK’s 65U7NQTUK listing describes a different model with 300+ zones and 144Hz VRR. Those figures do not describe the U.S. 65U7SG.
Does the 65-inch U7 have 3,000 dimming zones?
Not according to the size-specific figure in RTINGS’ 2026 review: it reports 960 local-dimming zones for the 65U7SG. Best Buy describes the product as having “up to 3,000 local dimming zones,” but that is a series-level maximum, not evidence that the 65-inch set has that count.

RTINGS lists different zone counts for larger 2026 U7SG sizes, showing why a lineup maximum should not be attributed to every screen size:

These are counts reported in RTINGS’ review of the 2026 U7SG line, reviewed April 30, 2026, with its test bench updated October 2, 2026. Local dimming divides a backlight into regions whose brightness can be adjusted independently; the count alone does not establish perceived picture quality. RTINGS’ review is the source for these model-specific figures.

What does Game Booster 330 VRR mean?
Hisense uses “Game Booster 330 VRR” as the feature name. RTINGS identifies the U7SG as having a native 165Hz panel and reports maximum refresh rates of 165Hz at 4K or 330Hz at 1080p. In other words, 330Hz is tied to the lower 1080p resolution, not 4K.

Does the evidence establish crisp picture quality or good value?
The supplied product specifications and testing establish model-specific features and refresh-rate capabilities, not a universal verdict that the image looks “crisp” or that the TV is a bargain. Picture impressions and value depend on viewing conditions, competing models, and the price available in the buyer’s market. The sources here do not establish a durable price comparison or market-wide affordability claim.
Hisense Global’s announcement for an earlier U7 generation said its new series offered higher peak brightness and more local-dimming zones than its predecessor. That is a manufacturer statement about that earlier series, not independent evidence about the 65U7SG’s image quality.
