The HIKMICRO HABROK 4K HH35L 2.0 combines thermal imaging, 4K digital viewing and a laser rangefinder in one binocular. Digital Camera World’s September 30, 2026 report describes it as an update to the HABROK 4K 2.0 platform, with rear-mounted controls and shutterless thermal viewing among the changes. Its specifications and quoted detection distances are product claims reported by the publication, not results of documented independent testing.
What the HABROK 4K HH35L 2.0 combines
The binocular has separate thermal and digital viewing channels, letting the user switch between heat-based imaging and a conventional digital view. It also includes a laser rangefinder. That combination can be useful when one device needs to handle locating heat sources, viewing a scene in color or with infrared illumination, and estimating distance.
The reported channels differ in resolution and magnification:

1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems| Channel | Reported specifications |
|---|---|
| Thermal | 384 × 288 sensor; 35 mm f/1.0 lens; 4×–20× magnification; sub-15 mK NETD sensitivity rating |
| Digital | 3840 × 2160 sensor; 60 mm f/2.2 lens; 5.5×–22× magnification |
The sub-15 mK figure is a stated sensitivity rating; it is not a guarantee that every small temperature difference will be visibly distinguishable in every environment. Resolution and sensitivity describe different aspects of the thermal channel, while lens, magnification and viewing conditions also affect what detail is practical to see.

How to interpret the distance figures
The figures in the September 30, 2026 Digital Camera World report refer to different functions and should not be treated as interchangeable measures of usable identification range.
| Function | Reported distance | Attribution and meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Thermal detection | Up to 1,800 m | Quoted by HikMicro, as reported in Digital Camera World; detection does not establish that a target can be identified at that distance. |
| Digital night viewing | Up to 400 m | Quoted by HikMicro, as reported in Digital Camera World. |
| Laser rangefinder | Rated to 1,000 m | A rangefinder specification reported by Digital Camera World; it describes ranging capability, not viewing distance. |
These are manufacturer-attributed or product-rated figures rather than documented independent test results for the HH35L 2.0. Detection, useful recognition and precise identification are distinct tasks, and conditions such as target size, background, weather, illumination and user experience can affect results.

What changed in the controls and thermal viewing
Digital Camera World highlights a rear focus wheel and a rear toggle for switching between thermal and digital views. Placing those controls at the back is intended to make focusing and changing channels more direct while holding the binocular.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How it compares with the earlier HABROK Pro
Digital Camera World’s March 8, 2025 article about the HABROK Pro described split-image viewing, with thermal images alongside full-color visuals. It reported a sub-900 g weight, a 0.49-inch 1920 × 1080 OLED screen, a 1,000 m laser rangefinder and up to seven hours of continuous operation. Those figures belong to the HABROK Pro, not the HH35L 2.0.

- MAXIMUM DETAIL IN EVERY SPECTRUM — 4K Day, IR Night, Twilight, and elite 640×512 thermal imaging give you unmatched clarity for long range detection and identification.
- ULTRA SENSITIVE 640×512 THERMAL WITH ≤15 mK NETD — Superior thermal definition reveals fine heat detail through brush, fog, smoke, and total darkness for professional level observation.
- 1000 YARD LASER RANGEFINDER BUILT IN — Instant, precise ranging without additional devices for confident decision making in any environment.
- SHARPIR AI, WDR, AND DUAL VIEW FOR TOTAL AWARENESS — See thermal and visual imagery together with enhanced contrast and edge definition for the clearest possible picture.
- RECORD, STREAM, AND OBSERVE WITHOUT FATIGUE — 4K and thermal recording, WiFi connectivity, 64 GB storage, tripod mount, adjustable optics, and lightweight magnesium design for hours of comfortable viewing.
The two reports do not establish a like-for-like independent performance comparison. In particular, the HH35L 2.0 report describes switching between thermal and digital viewing; it does not establish that this model presents both views together in the HABROK Pro’s split-image arrangement.
Price and availability in the reported market
Digital Camera World listed a UK price of £1,649.99 on September 30, 2026, and said the US price was unconfirmed at that time. That is a publication-date price, not confirmation of today’s retail price or stock. The page also showed deal links for other HABROK models, which should not be taken as confirmed HH35L 2.0 listings.
Who should consider it
The HH35L 2.0’s appeal is its combination of thermal and high-resolution digital channels, rangefinding, recording and navigation features in a single binocular. It may suit someone who values carrying one multispectrum device instead of separate viewers. The trade-off is that the headline performance figures do not, by themselves, show how much detail users can reliably identify at distance; prospective buyers should weigh real-world performance evidence, handling, battery needs and current local pricing alongside the specification sheet.
