The movie has not been identified. Hideo Kojima said he had already filmed an appearance in a “big live-action movie,” but the report of his comments did not name the title.
Which movie is Hideo Kojima’s cameo in?
There is no confirmed title to report. What appearances did Kojima mention?
In the same reported conversation, Kojima said he had filmed a few other things after directors and others asked him to appear. Besides the live-action movie, he referred to a “major anime title,” dialogue in another project, and an unnamed game cameo. The report treats these as separate appearances; it does not name those projects either.
What did Kojima say about acting?
As quoted by GamesRadar+, Kojima said, “I don’t like playing myself. That happens a lot,” and added that he would rather play “a detective or something.” The comments help explain the kind of role he would prefer, but they do not reveal the movie or his character.

Do his earlier screen appearances identify the film?
No. GamesRadar+ mentions Kojima’s reported appearances in the Japanese crime drama Vivant and his Japanese-dub role in Zootopia 2 as context. Neither establishes which newly mentioned live-action movie he filmed a cameo for.
