HideMyAss! (HMA) is advertising its 36-month VPN plan at 75% off on its US pricing page, for $107.64 billed upfront. The UK page lists the same-length offer at 70% off: £86.04 for the first three years. These discounts vary by market, and neither price is a month-to-month payment. Before choosing the lowest effective monthly rate, account for the full-term charge, device limit and automatic renewal.
What is the HMA VPN deal?
HMA’s US pricing page lists a 36-month plan for $2.99 per month, billed as $107.64 every three years and labeled 75% off. Its 12-month plan is $4.99 per month, or $59.88 billed annually, labeled 58% off. The UK pricing page lists a 36-month offer at £2.39 per month, with £86.04 due for the first three years and a stated 70% discount. The headline discount is therefore market-specific: the cited US page shows 75%, while the UK page shows 70%.
Those monthly figures are effective rates calculated from the upfront term price; they do not mean HMA charges that amount each month. The figures below are from HMA’s US and UK pricing pages in 2026.

Which plan makes sense: one year or three?
Choose 36 months for the lower advertised rate
The three-year plan has the lowest stated effective monthly price in both cited markets. In the US, its $107.64 charge covers the entire 36-month term; in the UK, the first three years cost £86.04. That lower rate comes with a longer commitment and a larger upfront payment than HMA’s US one-year option.
Choose a shorter term if flexibility matters more
HMA’s guide describes its one-year plan as popular and notes the longer commitment involved in a three-year plan. A shorter term can be a better fit if you do not want to pay for several years at once or would rather reassess the service sooner. HMA’s guide does not establish that the one-year plan is the best choice for every user. HMA’s guide to choosing a subscription term

What will HMA charge when the deal ends?
The cited UK page states that the 36-month offer renews at £95.88. That is the renewal figure shown for the UK offer, not a universal renewal price. The cited US pricing page does not state a renewal amount, so a US customer should check the current price shown for their account and region rather than assume the introductory rate continues.
HMA’s Google Play listing, updated August 20, 2026, says: “Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.” It also says a renewal is charged for the same duration at the current subscription rate. That means a three-year subscription can renew for another three-year period; the charge is based on the rate in force at renewal, not necessarily the discounted rate paid initially.
