The 2025 MagicCon Atlanta Festival in a Box contains three things: a 24-pack display of Mystery Booster 2, an Atlanta-exclusive foil Secret Lair drop with four cards, and four promo cards. The 2025 contents are distinct from the separately announced Atlanta 2026 box.
What comes in the MagicCon Atlanta Festival in a Box?
Wizards of the Coast’s official 2025 product listing names three components:
- One Mystery Booster 2 display box. It contains 24 booster packs.
- One Secret Lair Drop: MagicCon: The Gathering Foil Edition. This drop contains four foil cards.
- Four promo cards. The promos are The Ur-Dragon, Scourge of Valkas, Lightning Bolt, and Spaghetti Junction.
The listing says the cards are in English and limits orders to two per customer. It displays “Shipping begins September 12,” but does not establish a year for that date.
What is in the Mystery Booster 2 display?
The display has 24 packs, and each pack has 15 cards. Wizards describes the packs as featuring nearly 200 set symbols from across Magic’s history. That is a description of the packs collectively, not a claim that every pack contains the same cards or set symbols.

How is the 2025 box different from the Atlanta 2026 box?
Wizards announced a separate Festival in a Box: Atlanta 2026 in October 2026. It has different components, so its contents and price should not be attributed to the 2025 product.
| Edition | Booster component | Secret Lair component | Promos | Price stated by Wizards |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Atlanta 2025 | Mystery Booster 2 display, 24 packs | MagicCon: The Gathering Foil Edition | Four promo cards | Not stated in the cited 2025 listing |
| Atlanta 2026 | Mystery Booster Commander Edition box | Secret Gallery: Atlanta Foil Edition | Four Festival in a Box promo cards | $249.99 USD, in Wizards’ October 2026 announcement |
The 2026 components and price are from Wizards’ Atlanta 2026 announcement. They describe that later edition, not the 2025 box.
