What happens when the trial ends?
When the trial period ends—or if your Nintendo Switch Online membership expires—the trial stops being playable. Nintendo’s Game Trials FAQ says trial save data is retained after access ends. If you later buy the game, you can use that save to continue. The FAQ describes general Game Trials behavior; Nintendo’s promotion announcement does not separately confirm save-data details for this title.
