The HAVIT Freego Pro is an open-ear, air-conduction Bluetooth headset positioned for sports and outdoor use. HAVIT’s current product page lists Bluetooth 5.3, 15 mm drivers, a 110 mAh battery, USB-C charging and IPX5 water resistance. Its battery figures conflict with a 2025 HAVIT catalog and a regional distributor listing, so check the exact model and seller specifications rather than assuming one runtime applies to every Freego Pro.
What is the HAVIT Freego Pro?
HAVIT describes the Freego Pro as an air-conduction, open-ear headphone: it directs audio without sealing the ear canal. The company positions it for sports and outdoor activities, while a distributor associates the name with model E553BT and lists running, cycling, hiking, yoga and gym use. Those are product-positioning claims, not independent evidence that it is safe in traffic or suitable for every activity.
Naming varies by listing. HAVIT’s product page uses “Freego Pro,” while the distributor identifies it as E553BT. Confirm the exact SKU and regional version with the seller before buying.

Why Freego Pro battery-life listings disagree
The published battery figures are materially different. The sources do not explain whether the gap reflects a revision, regional SKU or different test conditions, so the values should not be averaged or treated as interchangeable.
| Source and version | Playback claim | Talk or call claim |
|---|---|---|
| HAVIT current product page (undated) | About 9 hours at 60% volume | About 7 hours talk time |
| HAVIT 2025 OEM Headphones Catalog | About 14 hours at 60% volume | About 10 hours at 60% volume |
| HAVIT Ukraine distributor listing (undated) | Up to 16.5 hours | Up to 9.5 hours of calls |
Each number is a published claim from the named source, not an independently measured runtime. Before purchase, compare the seller’s stated battery life with the exact SKU and region you are considering; the current HAVIT page and the 2025 catalog alone give different figures.

What to know about fit, sound, calls and water resistance
Open-ear awareness
Because the design does not seal the ear canal, it differs from isolating earbuds. HAVIT says this helps the wearer remain aware of surrounding sounds. Actual awareness depends on the environment and listening volume, so do not rely on the headset as a substitute for attention or other safety precautions.
Fit and sound
The sources available do not establish real-world comfort, secure fit during running or cycling, sound quality, durability or long-term wear. HAVIT’s promotional descriptions are not independent evaluations, so consider fit and audio performance unverified unless you can try the specific unit or find testing of the same SKU.

Calls and microphones
HAVIT lists dual microphones and ENC/AI processing for calls, but the available sources do not independently establish call clarity or how well background noise is reduced during a workout.
Sweat and water exposure
HAVIT lists IPX5 and describes the headset as sweatproof or water-resistant; its distributor mentions resistance to accidental splashes. These claims do not establish suitability for swimming or submersion.

What to check before buying
- Exact identity: Confirm whether the listing is for Freego Pro and whether it identifies the product as E553BT. Names and model references differ across sources.

- Phone pairing: HAVIT claims compatibility with iPhone and Android over Bluetooth, but does not provide a complete device-by-device compatibility list.
- Fit and performance: Do not infer secure sports fit, sound quality or call-noise performance from feature descriptions alone; those points are not established by independent testing in the cited sources.
