Good Smile Company is developing two Hatsune Miku x Gloomy Bear figures: a Nendoroid and a POP UP PARADE SP. Both appeared as painted prototypes at Wonder Festival 2026 Shanghai, but preorder dates, prices and release timing have not been established.
Which Hatsune Miku x Gloomy Bear figures are in development?
The two announced figures are the Nendoroid Hatsune Miku GLOOMY Ver. and the POP UP PARADE SP Hatsune Miku GLOOMY Ver.. They were displayed as painted prototypes at Wonder Festival 2026 Shanghai, so the designs have been shown in color but are still described as in development. The announcement is covered in the report on the figure reveal.
How do the two figures compare?
| Figure | Format and presentation | Confirmed Gloomy Bear inclusion | Product details established |
|---|---|---|---|
| Nendoroid Hatsune Miku GLOOMY Ver. | Compact Nendoroid format; shown as a painted prototype. | A small Gloomy Bear is not confirmed for this figure. | Final accessories and alternate faces, price, preorder date, release window and dimensions are not stated in the available coverage. |
| POP UP PARADE SP Hatsune Miku GLOOMY Ver. | Larger POP UP PARADE SP format; shown as a painted prototype. | Reporting confirms a small Gloomy Bear on the base. | Price, preorder date, release window and final dimensions are not stated in the available coverage. |
The distinction matters if you are choosing based on the companion character: the reported miniature Gloomy Bear belongs to the POP UP PARADE SP display, not to both figures. The comparison and design details are reported in coverage of the prototypes.
What do the designs look like?
Both figures use a shared pink-and-white, bear-inspired look. Their reported features include pink bear ears, a muzzle covering Miku’s mouth, claw-like ends on her twin-tails, and a red tie designed to look as if it is dripping. The larger POP UP PARADE SP figure adds the small Gloomy Bear on its base; the Nendoroid’s final accessory lineup has not been detailed.
#1 Best Overall
- The figure features a beautiful star-themed design. From the dress and hair accessories to the details around her feet, the star motif is consistently incorporated, creating a dreamy and magical atmosphere.
- The elegant combination of a pure white dress and golden star details gives Miku a sophisticated and luxurious look. It perfectly balances her fresh image with the special feeling of a birthday figure.
- Miku’s cute pose, gently holding a large star while giving a soft smile, is one of the figure’s highlights. It offers a sweet and gentle charm rather than an energetic action pose.
- The star-and-cloud themed base complements the overall design beautifully. The attention to detail extends beyond Miku herself, making the entire display feel like one cohesive fantasy scene.
- Standing at approximately 8.2 inch (21 cm) tall,
Can you preorder them, and when will they be released?
The available coverage does not establish a preorder date, price, release window, final dimensions, or retailer availability for either figure. Their appearance as painted prototypes is not confirmation that orders are open. Claims that a preorder is imminent or that either figure will debut in 2027 should be treated as speculation unless Good Smile Company publishes product listings with those details. The available product-information coverage does not confirm them.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Is this the first Hatsune Miku and Gloomy Bear merchandise?
No. The collaboration has appeared in earlier artwork and merchandise. A 2025 report described artwork pairing Hatsune Miku and other Piapro characters with Gloomy Bear imagery, alongside Japanese items such as a six-flavor lip-balm set and bear-face pouches. Separately, Taito’s official listing describes a Gloomy Bear and Hatsune Miku full-cover cap prize, approximately 40 cm in size and planned for mid-September 2026; Taito notes that timing can vary by location. These are separate products, not release details for the two Good Smile figures. See the earlier collaboration coverage and Taito listing.
