The Hasee X5 listing on Newegg describes a 15.6-inch laptop with an Intel Core i7-13620H, 16GB of LPDDR5 memory and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. A retrieved offer was $549.99, but separate Newegg listings showed different prices and comparison prices, so the claim of a $350 saving is not established as a consistent deal. Nor does the available evidence show that this laptop is twice as fast as Apple’s $699 MacBook Neo.
What the Newegg listing offers
The Newegg product page identifies the configuration as a Hasee X5 with an Intel Core i7-13620H processor, 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD. The processor is listed as a 10-core, 14-thread chip with six performance cores and four efficiency cores, and a maximum speed of 4.9GHz. Graphics are integrated Intel UHD Graphics, rather than a dedicated gaming GPU. See the Hasee X5 Newegg listing.
The listing also gives a 15.6-inch 1920×1080 IPS screen with a 60Hz refresh rate, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, Windows 11, a 62.7Wh battery and a weight of 3.86 pounds. Newegg’s specification blocks contain inconsistencies in some secondary details, including HDMI and display wording, so confirm the exact SKU and item details on the live listing before relying on those particulars.
Is $549.99 really $350 off?
No single, stable $350 saving is established by the retrieved listings. One Newegg snapshot showed the Hasee X5 at $549.99 against a displayed comparison price of $659.98, a difference of $109.99. A separate listing showed $539.99 against $899.99, a displayed difference of $360. The prices and reference prices belong to separate listings; neither establishes that the $549.99 offer is $350 below its own comparison price. View the alternate Newegg listing.

Does the Hasee X5 outperform the $699 MacBook Neo by 2X?
The available figures do not support that conclusion. Apple’s March 2026 MacBook Neo announcement reports performance against a bestselling PC with the latest shipping Intel Core Ultra 5—not against the Hasee X5 or its Core i7-13620H. Apple says Neo was “up to 50 percent faster for everyday tasks like web browsing” and “up to 3x faster when running on-device AI workloads” in that comparison. Those are Apple-reported, workload-specific results, not a general speed ranking between these two laptops. Read Apple’s MacBook Neo announcement.

Apple says it tested preproduction Neo systems with an A18 Pro, 8GB unified memory and 256GB SSD against production Intel Core Ultra 5 PC systems with Intel Graphics, 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD. The cited test period was January and February 2026. Because the comparator, configuration and workloads differ from the Hasee listing, these results cannot verify a “2X faster” claim for the X5. No direct, matched-condition Hasee X5-versus-Neo benchmark is established here.
How to compare the two laptops for your needs
The specifications suggest different trade-offs, but a fair overall verdict needs more than processor labels. The Hasee listing specifies twice the memory capacity and four times the SSD capacity of the Neo configuration Apple used in its benchmark; that does not by itself establish better performance or make the systems equivalent.

- Memory and storage: The listed Hasee configuration has 16GB RAM and a 1TB SSD. Apple’s tested Neo configuration had 8GB unified memory and a 256GB SSD. Capacity is clear; upgradeability and real-world performance are not established by these listings.
- Graphics and demanding work: Hasee lists Intel UHD integrated graphics. Apple’s Neo uses an A18 Pro with a 5-core GPU in the cited test configuration. Neither a gaming-performance ranking nor a matched graphics benchmark is provided.
- Screen and portability: Hasee lists a 15.6-inch 1080p 60Hz display and 3.86-pound weight. Compare those figures with the exact MacBook Neo configuration and your preference for screen size and carrying weight before deciding.
- Battery and software: Hasee lists battery capacity, not a comparable runtime test. Confirm the apps and operating-system requirements you depend on; the available evidence does not establish equivalent battery life or compatibility for your workflow.
What to check before buying
- Open the Newegg product page and confirm that the selected item is the X5 configuration with Core i7-13620H, 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD.
- Check the live price and the comparison price shown for that same listing; do not assume a displayed saving from another listing applies.
- Review the seller name, shipping, return terms and warranty information displayed at checkout.
- If choosing between this Hasee and a MacBook Neo, compare the specific configurations and the workloads you use rather than treating Apple’s separate Intel-PC results as a direct benchmark.
