The game’s official launch announcement says there are 10 playable Civilians at launch. How Civilian unlock progression works
IllFonic’s Progression & Customization Overview, published September 2, 2026, says experience earned in matches or the single-player story applies across four progression categories:
- Profile Level: progression that applies across roles.
- Killer Level: earned by playing as Michael.
- Civilian Level: tracked for each playable Civilian.
- Weapon Level: increased by using specific weapons as Michael.
The overview says raising Player Progression Levels unlocks additional playable Civilians, among other rewards. The guide reports that characters become selectable when the account reaches the listed threshold, without a separate claim or redeem step. If a character still appears locked after you reach a reported milestone, check the in-game roster and current patch or edition details.

What is confirmed about the Digital Deluxe roster?
IllFonic’s September 3, 2026 launch announcement identifies Richard and Alexis as additional playable Civilians included with Digital Deluxe. The independent guide also places Laurie Strode in the paid-edition group, but the launch notice’s character footnote does not name her. Treat Laurie’s precise access condition as uncertain and confirm the terms shown for your platform and edition before relying on them.
