Can you play the PC version with a PlayStation controller?
Yes. Steam lists full controller support, including PlayStation controllers. That means a PlayStation controller can be used with the PC listing; it is not evidence of a PlayStation console port.

Steam lists November 27, 2025 as the Windows PC release date. The requirements below are the store’s stated specifications, not independent performance benchmarks. Steam recommends an SSD but does not specify one in the minimum requirements.

What Sony’s PS5 Pro figures do—and do not—tell you
In its November 7, 2024 announcement, Sony said PS5 Pro has 67% more GPU compute units and 28% faster memory than the then-current PS5, enabling up to 45% faster rendering. Those are Sony’s console-level claims, not measurements for Hail to the Rainbow. Without confirmation that the game has a PS5 version and title-specific Pro support, they say nothing about its performance on PS5 Pro.
