For a purchase decision, look for model-specific independent test results if you can access them, and inspect or test the actual unit when buying used. In particular, check that the oven heats consistently across the shelves and that the controls and cleaning surfaces are in good condition.
How does the EX1 compare with the newer HWO60S7EX5?
The HWO60S7EX5 is a separate model, not an updated specification sheet for the EX1. Haier’s EX5 page describes air fry, steam assist and catalytic cleaning, and lists 70 L total and 62 L usable capacity. Those features and figures must not be attributed to the HWO60S7EX1.
