In comments attributed to Blanchard by People, she said: “I’m in disbelief. I can’t think,” and “I’ve screamed until my throat burns.” She described Urker as “an amazing father and a man who was deeply loved.” Dexerto reported her comments to People.
Blanchard also said she did not know whether his death was intentional and described him as having been “not in a good state of mind lately.” Those are her reported impressions; they do not establish the cause or manner of death.

She said Urker had faced public scrutiny and cyberbullying connected with their relationship, and that she believed the harassment had affected him profoundly. The reports cited do not establish that online harassment caused or contributed to his death.

When and where was Ken Urker found?
The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Kenan “Ken” Urker, 34, was found dead at a residence in Raceland, Louisiana, on October 1, 2026. Authorities received a call at about 6:15 p.m. that day, which was his birthday. TheWrap reproduced the sheriff’s office statement, which said Urker was “found dead upon arrival.”
Has Ken Urker’s cause of death been announced?
Not in the cited reports published October 2, 2026. The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office said the death investigation was continuing. Capt. Brennan Matherne told CBS News there were no signs of foul play. That statement is not a cause or manner-of-death finding, and no cause had been announced in that report.

Blanchard and Urker shared a daughter, Aurora. TheWrap reports they briefly became engaged in 2018, reconnected in early 2024, and welcomed Aurora in December 2024. Blanchard also called Urker her “soulmate” and “red string,” saying their connection could not be erased by time, distance, or death.
