There is no single Guardian Tales hero who is best in every activity. In a current global-server editorial ranking, Klen, Myth Movie Star Eugene, Kamael, Seira, Alicia, and Future Princess are the S-tier shortlist; Pocket Gamer’s September 2026 all-character list instead places Klen, Erina, Myth Movie Star Eugene, Kamael, and Mikke in S+. Use those rankings as starting points, then choose for your mode, team and server—not as a universal pull order.
How to read a Guardian Tales tier list
Tier lists are editorial or community evaluations, not official balance ratings. Arena, Colosseum, Raid, Kamazon, story and tower content reward different roles and team combinations. An overall tier is a convenient summary, not a promise that a hero will be your best choice in every mode.
Guardian Tales’ official site describes party composition and hero synergy as ways to amplify team damage. When comparing heroes, consider their role and how well they work with characters you have already built, as well as the activity you want to clear.
Current top heroes: two editorial views
The rankings below are recent but use different editorial methods, so their tiers should not be merged into a single definitive order.

| Pocket Gamer, updated September 7, 2026 for version 3.53.0 | S+: Klen, Legendary Hero Erina, Myth Movie Star Eugene, God of Harvest Kamael, Ronin Cat Mikke | An all-character editorial list. It says heroes outside the highest overall tiers may still excel in specific content such as Colosseum, Tower or Raid. |
| Claude Gaming, checked October 2, 2026; global server | S: Klen, Myth Movie Star Eugene, Kamael, Seira, Alicia, Future Princess | A synthesis comparing three September 2026 rankings, adjusted using release timing, role-based evaluation and pick usage. It is an editorial method, not official game telemetry. |
Pocket Gamer’s tier text appears to list Erina in both S+ and S; the table reports its S+ placement without treating the apparent duplicate as a settled second ranking. The two sources also differ on which heroes belong in their highest band, reinforcing that tier labels depend on method and scope.
Choose by the content you play
Arena and other PvP
For Arena, consider the current PvP environment and whether a hero fits your team. Guardian Tales Guides says its dynamic overall list draws Arena and Colosseum data from KR top-100 rankings, so that view reflects a particular server’s high-ranked play rather than every region or account.
Rank #2

A January 30, 2026 developer letter said that after the Myth update, heroes in Arena, Master Arena and Death Match would participate at an adjusted level of 115. The letter also described planned work to reduce the PvP performance gap between Grade 5 and Grade 6 heroes. This is a dated statement, not confirmation that the same rules or balance remain unchanged now. Read the official developer letter.

Colosseum rankings reward different team choices from Arena. Check a mode-specific ranking where possible, and treat an overall tier as a screening tool rather than proof that a hero belongs in your Colosseum lineup. Guardian Tales Guides’ rankings use KR top-100 data for this mode, which may not represent regional differences.
Rank #3
- 6-INCH-SCALE RED GUARDIAN & MELINA VOSTKOFF FIGURES: Fans, collectors, and kids alike can enjoy these 6-inch-scale Red Guardian & Melina Vostokoff figures, inspired by the character from Marvel entertainment.
- MARVEL ENTERTAINMENT-INSPIRED DESIGN: Red Guardian & Melina Vostkoff figures feature premium design, detail, and articulation for posing and display in a Marvel collection.
- PREMIUM ARTICULATION AND DETAILING: These quality 6-inch Legends Series Red Guardian & Melina Vostkoff figures feature multiple points of articulation and are a great addition to any action figure collection.
- MARVEL UNIVERSE IN 6-INCH SCALE: Look for other Hasbro Marvel Legends Series figures (each sold separately) with comic- and movie-inspired characters, including Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, Black Panther, and more. (Additional figures each sold separately. Subject to availability.)
Raid
Raid value depends on how a hero contributes to a compatible team. Pocket Gamer specifically notes that characters outside its overall top tiers can excel in Raid. Guardian Tales Guides says its Raid input comes from the site’s current raid results, so it is another mode-specific view rather than an official universal score.
Story, PvE, tower and Kamazon
For story and other PvE challenges, favor a team that can handle the content and that you can actually develop; an overall ranking may not reflect your account’s best clear option. Pocket Gamer calls out Tower as another area where lower overall-tier heroes can be strong. Guardian Tales Guides says it uses current Kamazon and PvE teams in its dynamic list, with PvE receiving a lower weight.

Check the roster and your server
An official summon notice dated September 15, 2026 lists 105 three-star, 29 two-star and 22 one-star heroes for the EU/NA/OC/LA scope. These are counts in that dated notice, not a guarantee that every listed character is summonable at once or that other regional servers have the same schedule. See the official summon notice.
Rankings and access can vary by region. Claude Gaming’s shortlist is explicitly for the global server; it notes that Korea and Japan run different schedules and that collaboration heroes have availability caveats. Guardian Tales Guides also warns that KR-only heroes may rank lower in its overall list and that some mode scores can reflect availability. Check the current in-game summon information for your server before planning around a specific hero.

Use tiers to guide investment, not dictate pulls
- Pick your target activity. Decide whether your priority is PvP, Raid, story/PvE, tower or Kamazon before comparing rankings.
- Check a mode-specific view. Use the two editorial lists above for broad context, then look at mode-focused rankings when available. Remember that community aggregations can use server-specific data.
- Compare role and team fit. Ask what the hero adds to your existing party and whether the team can make use of that contribution.
- Account for access and investment. Confirm the hero is available on your server and consider whether your existing roster and progression make another character a more practical choice.
- Treat top tiers as a wishlist, not a purchase order. Claude Gaming notes that a well-built older hero can still clear most content; a high rank alone does not make a character the right investment for every account.
