Rockstar has not confirmed a third numbered GTA VI trailer. A YouTube banner that reuses Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos artwork has fans hoping for new footage, but Rockstar’s official video archive still lists two trailers and one “Extended Look” video, none labelled Trailer 3. The game is dated for November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
What the banner says and who reported it
Notebookcheck reported on October 8, 2026, that a YouTube banner reading “There’s more to GTA VI on YouTube.” had appeared. The image uses a modified version of existing Jason and Lucia artwork, and videotech shared it on X. Notebookcheck’s writer, Adam Corsetti, says the banner prompted speculation about a future video, with some fans hoping a trailer would arrive on October 8. The same report also raises music-video or album-related content as a possibility.
Those are hypotheses, not announcements. Three things are not established by the reporting or by any source reviewed here:
- The campaign’s destination. Nothing ties the banner to a specific video, playlist, or release.
- The banner’s verification. It was not checked against a YouTube campaign page or a Rockstar statement.
- Any named official comment. No Rockstar spokesperson or named person has been quoted explaining what the banner promotes.

How to check whether a new official video has been published
- Open Rockstar Games’ official Grand Theft Auto VI video archive and compare the titles against the three entries above.
- Check the official Grand Theft Auto VI game page for a newly featured video, which may differ from the archive order.
- Count a video as official only if it appears on Rockstar’s own pages. A banner, a repost on X, or a fan account does not meet that test on its own.
Release date, platforms, and edition
- Release date: November 19, 2026, according to Rockstar’s official game page.
- Platforms: PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, per the same page.
- Price and format: Take-Two’s June 24, 2026 pre-order announcement gave a $79.99 launch price for a single-player experience. The physical boxed version contains a download code rather than a disc and was announced for availability starting November 12, 2026.
The price and availability date come from a June announcement and may have changed, so check the current store listing before buying.

What the official synopsis says about Jason and Lucia
Rockstar’s official synopsis places Jason and Lucia in Vice City, describes an “easy score” that goes wrong, and refers to a criminal conspiracy across Leonida. It is summary copy for the game. It does not explain what the YouTube banner is promoting, and it should not be read as a hint about a future video.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:

The banner is a reported promotional image with unconfirmed intent. The official archive contains two numbered trailers and one Extended Look, and nothing in Rockstar’s listed catalogue is numbered Trailer 3. If a new video appears, it will show up on Rockstar’s archive and game page first, and that is the point at which the Trailer 3 question can be answered.
