Yes: an interview transcript describing a Grand Theft Auto VI gameplay demo says Jason appears naked in a shower. That confirms nudity in the demonstrated scene—not an explicit sex scene or a player-controlled intimacy feature. Rockstar North co-studio head Rob Nelson said the team is iterating on how physical intimacy should feel and wants to avoid depicting it as a caricature.
What the GTA 6 demo reportedly showed
In a transcript reproduced by Game Up News, demonstration notes describe an encounter involving Lucia and a man in a dumpster, then a switch to Jason naked in the shower. The transcript identifies this as nudity shown during the demo; it does not describe the shower scene as sex.

Game Up News says the interview was conducted when IGN visited Rockstar North in July 2026. IGN published interview highlights in August, and Game Up News later published the full conversation. The comments about development intent come from Nelson, identified as Rockstar North co-studio head.

Asked about physical intimacy, Nelson said: “But physical intimacy is a huge part of a relationship, and so it has to be done right. Like anything that we do, we have to iterate and try things and iterate on it until we figure out what feels right.” He added that Rockstar did not want a “weird caricature” and wanted to “err on the right side of it.”

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What remains unconfirmed
The shower nudity does not establish an explicit sex scene. Nor does the transcript confirm that players can initiate sex between Jason and Lucia outside scripted story moments. A syndicated IGN report explicitly says Rockstar had not confirmed that kind of player-controlled interaction.

Romance has been described as optional: in related August reporting, Nelson said Jason and Lucia will still work together whether or not they are romantically close. Optional romance and demonstrated nudity are separate details; neither confirms an interactive sex mechanic.
