Greenlight Networks is investing more than $20 million to expand its fiber network into Easton City, Pennsylvania, and Phillipsburg, New Jersey. Construction was underway when the company announced the project on October 1, 2026. Greenlight expects its first Easton areas to become serviceable in early 2027, but it has not announced a firm Phillipsburg launch date or listed eligible addresses.
Where is Greenlight expanding, and when?
The October project covers Easton City and neighboring Phillipsburg. Greenlight says construction is underway and expects initial neighborhoods in the Easton City area to be serviceable in early 2027. Lehigh Valley Business reported the same construction status and timing estimate the next day. That estimate is not a guaranteed date for every Easton address.

The announcement does not identify streets or neighborhoods, provide an address-level eligibility list, or specify when Phillipsburg service will begin. To find out whether your home or business is included, check Greenlight’s current availability information and contact the company for updates. Greenlight said Easton residents can sign up for construction updates and pre-orders.
How this project relates to Greenlight’s Bethlehem expansion
The Easton and Phillipsburg work is separate from Greenlight’s earlier, broader Lehigh Valley project. On April 20, 2026, the company announced a $62 million expansion across Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley, including Bethlehem, with a goal of reaching tens of thousands of households and businesses by the end of 2027. Greenlight described the October Easton and Phillipsburg work as additional to that investment. The two announcements should not be read as a promise that every part of the Lehigh Valley will receive service by the end of 2027.

What Greenlight says its fiber service offers
Greenlight describes its network as 100 percent optical fiber and advertises speeds up to 8 Gbps. It also says its service has no contracts, taxes, or hidden fees. These are the provider’s claims; the October announcement does not include independent speed tests, a complete plan-price schedule, or a comparison with competing providers.
If you are weighing providers, check the details for your address rather than relying on regional rollout announcements. Compare the available plans and their actual prices, upload and download speeds, equipment and installation charges, contract and fee terms, and expected installation timing. The announcement does not say whether Greenlight supplies or requires a router, or which third-party equipment it supports.

In Greenlight’s October 1 announcement, CEO Mark Murphy said the expansion reflected the company’s momentum in the region and its commitment to bringing its fiber network to more communities. Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Tony Iannelli called expanded access to high-speed internet an important investment in the region’s future. These comments express support for the project; they do not independently confirm rollout dates or service performance.
