Banpresto’s GRANDISTA Sadako figure from The Ring stands about 25 cm (9.8 inches) tall. Its Japan arcade debut is scheduled for October 8, 2026—one day after the latest date covered here—and Bandai Spirits’ official lineup lists it for October 2026.
How tall is the GRANDISTA Sadako figure?
The figure is approximately 25 cm tall, or about 9.8 inches, according to Siliconera’s October 2026 report and Mandorama’s product listing. That is the basis for calling it almost 10 inches tall.
When does it come out?
Bandai Spirits’ official GRANDISTA lineup places the item in October 2026. Siliconera reports a more specific Japan debut date of October 8, 2026, when it is scheduled to begin as a prize figure in Japanese arcades. As of October 7, that date is still upcoming; the official lineup confirms the month but does not specify the day.
What does the figure look like?
In the official images reported by Siliconera, Sadako stands in a reaching pose, with her hair covering her face. She wears a white dress and is barefoot. These details describe the pictured design, not a hands-on assessment of a production figure.

Is it a prize figure, and where can you buy it?
GRANDISTA is a prize-figure series, not a scale-model kit. Bandai Spirits describes the line as emphasizing size and sculpting detail. The reported Japan launch is through arcades, while Mandorama has a retailer-specific October 2026 preorder listing. A listing at one retailer does not establish general availability or a confirmed release outside Japan.
Siliconera notes that Amazon carries other GRANDISTA figures, but that does not confirm an Amazon listing for this specific Sadako release. Its suggestion that this figure may receive a worldwide release is a prediction, not an announced release plan. No confirmed worldwide date or exact-item Amazon listing is established by the cited sources.

How it fits among other 2026 Sadako figures
The GRANDISTA release is one of several distinct Sadako products reported for 2026. Siliconera also describes a FuRyu BiCute Bunnies figure, a Banpresto bust designed to look as if Sadako is emerging from a phone or television, and chibi figures from CCP Japan. These differ in format and design; they should not be treated as equivalent in size or presentation. The GRANDISTA figure’s stated height is about 25 cm.
