The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra ’25 is in Gran Turismo 7: it joined the game in Update 1.67 and is listed as available from Brand Central. But real-world specifications and Nürburgring records do not establish how it performs against other electric cars in the game. A fair in-game comparison requires testing the cars under the same conditions.
Is the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra in Gran Turismo 7?
Yes. Polyphony Digital’s Update 1.67 notice, dated January 29, 2026, lists the “Xiaomi SU7 Ultra ’25” among three cars added to the lineup and names Brand Central as its in-game source. The notice confirms the car’s inclusion; it does not provide comparative lap times or establish how it ranks against other EVs.

What the real-world SU7 Ultra figures tell you
Xiaomi’s November 2024 filing reports that the production SU7 Ultra uses two Xiaomi HyperEngine V8s motors and one V6s motor. Xiaomi gives its maximum output as 1,548 PS, 0–100 km/h acceleration as 1.98 seconds, and designed top speed as 350 km/h. These are manufacturer-published specifications, not independent test results or measurements of the car’s behavior in GT7.
The figures provide real-car context, but they cannot be used to predict the game’s acceleration, braking, cornering, stability, or lap time. Those depend on the game’s implementation and the conditions of a particular test. Xiaomi Corporation’s November 2024 filing describes the production model this way: “Xiaomi SU7 Ultra can generate a maximum horsepower of 1548PS, being able to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in just 1.98s, and can reach a designed top speed of 350km/h.”

Production SU7 Ultra and prototype Nürburgring times
Xiaomi reports a 7:04.957 Nürburgring Nordschleife lap for the production SU7 Ultra on April 1, 2025. That run used the optional Professional Track Package, a carbon-fiber dual-vent front hood, and an aerodynamic underbody plate. Xiaomi separately reports a 6:22.091 lap for the SU7 Ultra Prototype. That is a different vehicle configuration, described with race-focused equipment including a removed interior and air conditioning, carbon-fiber exterior panels, and track-focused aerodynamics. The prototype time should not be presented as the production car’s result.
The Nürburgring’s record-method description says official Nordschleife record laps cover 20.832 km and use a flying start. Timing uses calibrated equipment; attempts are supervised by a notary, and vehicle approval and standard condition are documented by a neutral testing organization. Categories follow German Federal Motor Transport Authority classifications. The circuit states: “Since 2019, these record drives are officially confirmed and listed by the Nürburgring.”

These details make the real-world times more interpretable, but they still cannot answer which car is quicker or easier to drive in GT7. They were recorded on a real circuit, in specified real-car configurations, not in the game.
How to compare the SU7 Ultra with other GT7 electric cars
No reproducible SU7 Ultra-versus-rival GT7 lap times or handling tests are established by the sources cited here. Rather than infer a winner from manufacturer specifications or real-world records, compare cars in a controlled game test. Choose the rivals you want to evaluate and confirm that each is available in your version of GT7; the sources cited here do not establish a specific competitor roster.

- Set a consistent baseline. Use the same game version, circuit and track layout, tire compound, assists, tuning rules, and driver for each car. Record any settings that affect performance so the comparison can be repeated.
- Measure more than one lap time. Compare acceleration, braking, cornering and stability, and lap consistency. A single fast lap does not show whether a car is predictable or easy to drive repeatedly.
- Keep tuning comparable. Decide in advance whether the test uses stock settings or allows tuning. If tuning is allowed, apply the same rules to every car and note what each car can adjust.
- Report the method with the result. Any published gameplay comparison should identify the game version, track, settings, assists, tires, tuning and test method. Without those details, readers cannot tell whether the result applies to their own setup.
This framework is a way to produce a useful comparison, not a claim that a controlled head-to-head test has already been performed.
