Yes. Google’s hardware specifications list the Pixel 11 with built-in Pixelsnap wireless charging that is Qi2.2-certified and rated for up to 25W. Google’s Pixel 11 launch announcement gives the same 25W Qi 2.2 compatibility claim. That is the phone’s maximum specification, not a guarantee that every Qi2 charger will deliver 25W.

The Pixel 11 was announced on August 12, 2026, and Google said the phones became available to buy on August 25, 2026. It is therefore a released phone rather than a rumored or unreleased device.

Yes—Pixel 11 supports Qi2 wireless charging

Google explicitly supports the broader Qi2 standard on Pixel 11 through a newer Qi2.2-certified implementation. The exact hardware-specification wording is “Pixelsnap wireless charging (Qi2.2-certified) up to 25W.” Google’s launch announcement describes the feature as built-in Pixelsnap and “Qi 2.2 25W compatibility.”

That answers the compatibility question directly: a Qi2 charger is an appropriate accessory category for Pixel 11. You should still check the charger’s own specifications, because the phone’s “up to 25W” rating describes the maximum the device can accept under compatible conditions. It does not mean every Qi2 or Qi2.2 pad will operate at 25W with this phone.

What Qi2.2 and Pixelsnap mean on Pixel 11

Qi2.2 is the certification Google lists

Qi2 is the wireless-charging standard named in the question. Google’s Pixel 11 specification is more precise: it says Qi2.2-certified. When shopping, look for a charger that identifies its supported Qi2 version and states its output for the Pixel 11 or for compatible Qi2.2 devices.

Certification tells you the phone and charger are designed around the same standards framework. It does not make all chargers equivalent. A charger can support Qi2 while having a lower advertised output, a different stand or pad design, or different power-adapter requirements.

Pixelsnap is Google’s built-in implementation

Google calls the Pixel 11 system Pixelsnap and says it is built in. In practical terms, Pixelsnap is the name Google uses for the phone’s magnetic wireless-charging experience. The brand name does not replace the Qi2 requirement: the specification still identifies the charging system as Qi2.2-certified.

If you want magnetic alignment, confirm that the accessory you buy explicitly supports magnetic attachment. The official Pixel 11 specification establishes the phone’s Pixelsnap and Qi2.2 capability, but it does not certify a particular third-party charger model.

How fast can Pixel 11 charge wirelessly?

Google rates Pixel 11 wireless charging at up to 25W. This is the published maximum and the only charging-speed figure established by the cited official material. It is not a measured charging time, battery-percentage result, or promise that the phone will remain at 25W throughout a charge.

Actual power can vary with the charger’s own output rating, the power adapter feeding that charger, alignment, the phone’s battery level, temperature, and other charging controls. Wireless charging commonly changes its power over the course of a session, so a maximum input figure should not be converted into a guaranteed time from empty to full.

No cited independent test establishes Pixel 11’s real-world charging time, sustained wireless power, heat behavior, or battery results. Treat 25W as a specification ceiling rather than a performance benchmark.

Pixel 11 wireless charging specification

Phone Wireless-charging specification in Google’s hardware information
Pixel 11 Pixelsnap wireless charging, Qi2.2-certified, up to 25W

Pixel 10 Pro Up to 15W, according to Google’s charging-compatibility footnote
Pixel 10 Pro Fold Up to 15W, according to Google’s charging-compatibility footnote

The 15W figure applies to the listed Pixel 10 models in Google’s footnote. Do not transfer that older figure to Pixel 11: Google gives Pixel 11 a separate “up to 25W” Qi2.2 specification.

What you need to charge a Pixel 11 with Qi2

  • A Qi2-compatible wireless charger: Choose a product that clearly states Qi2 support. For the most relevant match to Pixel 11, look for Qi2.2 support or an explicit 25W wireless-output claim for compatible devices.
  • A suitable power adapter: The charging pad or stand must receive enough power from its adapter to provide its advertised output. Check the charger’s input and adapter requirements; the Pixel 11 specification does not establish the requirements of each accessory.
  • Correct placement: A pad needs the phone’s charging area centered over its coil. A stand should hold the phone in the position specified by its manufacturer.
  • Optional magnetic attachment: If you want the Pixelsnap-style magnetic hold, select a charger that specifically includes or supports magnetic attachment. Qi2 compatibility alone does not identify the accessory’s physical design.

How to evaluate a charger listing

Read the technical specification rather than relying only on a product name. Check four items: the Qi2 version, the maximum wireless output, the required power adapter, and whether magnetic alignment is included. A listing that says only “wireless charging” may describe an older or lower-power standard and does not by itself confirm Qi2 compatibility.

Also distinguish the charger’s maximum output from the output it can provide to Pixel 11. A charger may advertise a high maximum for one device category while supplying less to another. The cited Google material confirms the phone’s 25W ceiling, not the behavior of any particular accessory.

How to charge Pixel 11 wirelessly

  1. Connect the charger. Plug the Qi2 charger into the power adapter and connect the adapter to a working outlet. Follow the accessory maker’s input instructions.
  2. Place the phone on the pad or stand. Position the back of Pixel 11 over the charger’s center. If the accessory has magnetic attachment, let it align the phone rather than forcing it into place.
  3. Check the charging indication. Confirm that Pixel 11 shows its normal wireless-charging indicator. If no indicator appears, remove the phone and reposition it before troubleshooting the charger.
  4. Leave the coil area clear. Thick cases, metal plates, cards, or other objects between the phone and charger can interfere with alignment or charging. Remove anything that the charger manufacturer says is incompatible.
  5. Allow the session to stabilize. Wireless power can change as the battery fills or as the phone manages temperature. Do not interpret a momentary power reduction as proof that Qi2 is unsupported.

Why a Qi2 charger may not reach 25W

The accessory may have a lower rating

Pixel 11 can accept up to 25W according to Google, but a charger rated below 25W cannot provide that maximum. A Qi2 label confirms the standard family, not a universal wattage.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

The power adapter may limit the charger

Some wireless chargers require a particular adapter or input level to reach their highest advertised output. If the adapter is underspecified, the charger may reduce power even though the pad itself carries a higher headline rating. Use the adapter and cable requirements stated by the charger maker.

  • EXTRA-LONG CABLE: 5ft cord provides flexible placement and convenient charging wherever you need it
  • COMPACT DIMENSIONS: Measures 2.36 x 2.36 x 0.33 inches for space-saving setup

Alignment and case materials matter

Wireless power depends on the transmitter and receiver coils being close and correctly aligned. A misaligned phone, thick case, metal insert, wallet attachment, or foreign object can prevent charging or cause the charger to reduce output. Test with the case and accessories removed if charging is intermittent.

Temperature and battery state can change power

The 25W number is a maximum specification. Charging controls can lower power as the battery level rises or if the device becomes warm. The available evidence does not provide a Pixel 11 temperature threshold or a measured power curve, so no exact reduction point should be assumed.

Troubleshooting Pixel 11 Qi2 charging

Pixel 11 does not start charging

  • Reconnect the charger and verify that its power adapter is switched on.
  • Place the phone at the center of the pad or in the stand’s recommended position.
  • Remove metal objects, cards, or a thick case temporarily.
  • Try the charger with the phone’s screen awake, then check for the wireless-charging indicator.
  • Use the charger’s documented adapter and cable requirements.

Charging starts but stops

Intermittent charging usually points first to movement, alignment, an obstruction, or insufficient power to the accessory. Reposition the phone and test without accessories. If the charger has a magnetic mount, ensure the phone is held securely and is not slipping out of alignment.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Charging is slower than expected

Confirm that the charger explicitly supports Qi2 or Qi2.2 and identify its stated output for compatible devices. Then check its power adapter and remove anything that could interfere with coil coupling. Remember that Google’s 25W figure is “up to” and does not establish a guaranteed sustained rate.

Pixel 11 release timing and specification status

Google unveiled the Pixel 11 devices on August 12, 2026. On August 25, 2026, Google announced that the Pixel 11 phones were available to buy. Google’s current Pixel phone hardware specification page includes a Pixel 11 section and lists Qi2.2-certified Pixelsnap wireless charging up to 25W.

Because technical specifications and accessory compatibility can change, check Google’s current hardware page and the charger manufacturer’s current listing when making a purchase. The dates above identify the announcement and availability statements associated with the published Pixel 11 information.

What the official information does not prove

  • It does not show that every Qi2 charger can deliver 25W to Pixel 11.
  • It does not identify a specific charger model as tested or endorsed.
  • It does not provide a guaranteed empty-to-full wireless charging time.
  • It does not provide independent measurements of sustained wattage, heat, or battery-life effects.
  • It does not make the Pixel 10 models’ 15W figure applicable to Pixel 11.

For a purchase, the defensible choice is a Qi2.2 wireless charger whose listing clearly states its output, power requirements, and magnetic design. Pixel 11 supplies the Qi2.2-certified receiver and supports up to 25W; the accessory determines whether it can provide a compatible session at that level.
