For the roster in Pocket Gamer’s tier list updated October 5, 2026, the S+ heroes are Orpheus, Ostara, Elena, Arkanas, Sapphira, and Grox. The most clearly described early picks fill different jobs: Orpheus deals area damage, Ostara heals and supports allies, and Grox tanks with taunt and revival. Treat that list as a dated reference, not a confirmed live-game ranking: Pocket Gamer says the game was removed from the App Store and Google Play and that it stopped updating the list.
Which heroes are worth investing in early?
Start with the job your team lacks, then consider the hero’s tier and how its abilities work with your existing roster. The tier list does not provide controlled comparisons of investment costs or performance across game modes, so its rankings are best used as a shortlist rather than a universal measure of value.

The ranking and ability descriptions come from Pocket Gamer’s Gods & Demons tier list, marked “Updated on October 5th, 2026 – Version: 3.0.10.” The page also says it will no longer update, so check that a listed hero exists in your own game before committing scarce resources.
Which alternatives fit a particular team?
Pocket Gamer places the following heroes in S tier. The descriptions below are useful when a top-ranked hero is unavailable or a different role would help your formation.

Healing, support, and control
- Seraphel (S): a healer and revival option.
- Liana (S): support with healing, buffs, and control resistance.
- Luna (A): the list describes her as a healing and debuff-dispel fallback for early-to-mid game when better healers are unavailable.
Area damage and synergy
- Freni (S): area damage with bleed, which the list says can support silence synergy.
Other S-tier options
The tier list also ranks Goron, Rachel, Wraith Witch, Valdedio, Throxis, and Ark in S. Its tier placement alone does not establish which is the best fit for your team; compare their skills in your client with the roles you still need.
Ella and Rein are listed in A tier alongside Luna. Do not treat a lower tier as a reason to discard a hero that fills a needed role, particularly when the list does not compare costs or mode-specific results.

How should you spend early resources?
BlueStacks’ Gods & Demons resource guide recommends building around five-star heroes and skill synergy, while avoiding substantial investment in three- and four-star heroes expected to be replaced. These are third-party recommendations, not confirmed current official instructions.
- Check the roster you actually have. Confirm the hero’s rarity, skills, and availability in your current client; do not assume a dated tier list matches your game version.
- Identify the team’s missing role. Consider damage, healing or support, and tanking before choosing between candidates.
- Look for skill synergy. Favor a combination that works with your existing heroes over a tier label in isolation.
- Be selective with scarce upgrades. Following BlueStacks’ recommendation, prioritize five-star heroes you expect to keep rather than investing heavily in lower-rarity heroes likely to be replaced.
- Keep progression rewards flowing. BlueStacks recommends collecting idle rewards before the 24-hour cap and progressing story chapters, which it says improve idle rewards and provide milestones.
Can you recover resources by resetting a hero?
The available guides conflict. Pocket Gamer says the in-game Rebirth button resets an upgraded hero to level 1; BlueStacks says there is no reverse system and invested resources cannot be recovered. Neither source establishes current in-client behavior or what Rebirth refunds. Before spending resources, inspect the current Rebirth screen and its confirmation text; do not count on a reset returning materials unless your client explicitly says so.

How current is this tier list?
Pocket Gamer dates its list to October 5, 2026 and labels it version 3.0.10, but also says the game was removed from the App Store and Google Play and that it stopped updating its rankings. That makes the list a dated snapshot, not evidence of the current meta or of what is available to every player.
A Google Play listing titled “Gods and Demons – Idle RPG” reports an update on May 13, 2026 and describes a card-based AFK strategy RPG. The listing does not establish that it is the same Com2uS game covered by Pocket Gamer and BlueStacks, so its store status should not be used to infer availability of the heroes above. See the Google Play listing only as a separate, similarly named title unless you can verify the game’s identity.
